Good planning and coordination skills to ensure a wide variety of activities, often with an urgent nature, to be carried out in an efficient and economic manner A.Key Role and Responsibilities: The major task of MEAL Officer is to ensure project quality standard through regular evidence-based project quality monitoring and assurance mechanism and promote downward accountability. Other duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to, the following:
Coordinate for overall monitoring and evaluation, reporting, learning documentation functions for this project
Conduction Monitoring activities in the field with stakeholders, Civic Forum team WaterAid Nepal or any other related bodies
Ensure financial and programmatic accountability, especially of the field level activities. Prepare monitoring and accountability criteria for the assurance
Regularly Coordinate with PMEL Unit of WaterAid Nepal for the guidance, suggestions and recommendations to make Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning activity of the project
Assist Project Coordinator for preparing event reports, monthly and quarterly report and action plan
Ensure the activities are being conducted as per the project guidance or project plan that may be number of participants, training cost, sessions undertaken, etc
Assist Staffs/Trainer/Resource person/ Facilitator hired from outside for conducting planned activities or training
Assist Project Coordinator for preparation of the project conduction guideline budgeting and others related documents
Support quarterly Project performance reflection process by ensuring participatory engagement of project team and WAN team
Identify nest practices, learning and success stories of the project during field visits and support to produce high quality documentation for sharing and learning
