The Preschool Fair

Chesapeake Family Life and Anne Arundel County Child Care Association (AACCCA) are working together to bring parents the Preschool andChildcare Fair on January 26, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Westfield Annapolis Mall. The event will provide parents with information about childcare and preschool options in Anne Arundel County, as well as parent and child exercise classes and “Coffee with the Docs.” Workshops will include: First Aid Tips, Mommy & Me yoga, Dealing with Childhood Food Allergies, and Finding Quality Childcare.

There will be professionals available to talk about Maryland EXCELS, the Maryland State Department of Education’s childcare quality rating system; Child Find, the school system’s service for young children with physical or learning challenges; as well as health services for infants, preschoolers, and their families; and library services and programs. Mini workshops for parents will be held throughout the day.

The free event will have more than 30 schools showcasing their programs, and fun activities for the kids to do while parents chat with educators. Special discounts and coupons will be handed out to all attendees.
