Bright colors, bare skin, bold statement pieces... This is what we are seeing on the runway and street fashion did not dissapoint, everyone came catwalk ready! Tiny Mini’s, mixtures of textures, layers on layers and we are only getting started. Whatever your style, you will find a way to go through your closet and pull together an entire fashion worthy collection, and if all else fails, you can grab a role of caution tape and make your own - absolute brilliance!

es, you are absolutely right, we have been away for a while, not just a couple of months, but an entire year! We took this time during the pandemic to sit back and take note of all the ideas that were sent our way, so that we can take our ‘newish’ magazine to another level, while giving it a bit of a rebrand and new look.
This month as usual we start the magazine with our incredible editors who have been so patient during the downtime, they each take you on their journey while also introducing some incredible creators along the way. Our cover star this month is a Cobra Kai fan favorite actor Nick Marini, who opens up about his newest role that takes him on an emotional journey. We also have the stunning Elizabeth Banks in the spotlight as she takes to her newest venture of becoming Co-Owner and Chief Creative Officer of Archer Roose. If you love wine like I do, then make sure to grab yourself a can or two! Fashion week has come and gone, and I can’t compliment the trends enough. I love everything about the AW22 collections, and it’s now time to get creative, open up your closets and where whatever you like! That’s right, the collections were a mix or textures, layers and colors, it was bold, bright and a lot of bare skin. there is something for everyone. Now for something incredibly important and close to many of our hearts. Whilst we are witnessing the bravery of many Ukrainians, we are also witnessing the heartbreak, and devestation that continues to unfold. We stand with Ukraine, and will help in everyway possible. We will be donating 100% of proceeds from this March/April bi-monthly issue to helping humanitarian and housing needs. We are in this together, and together we can make a difference. We are always looking for new ideas, and I truly do want to hear from you all. I hope you find the work as fulfilling and fun to read as we did whilst creating and editing it. “Through creative thought and vision, magic is constantly gracing our everyday life”.

UPLOADER UPLOAD MAR/APR 22 Which product/s do you need to create the perfect cat-eye eyeliner look? Pencil, gel, or liquid liner? Personally, I prefer the latter! And yes, liquid eyeliner takes some time to master, but it gives you a precise, clean look that you can’t achieve with any other product once you do. How do you choose a good eyeliner? You need to look for three things: super sharp tip (this will make it easier to get that super fine line at the inner and outer corner), hard tip (you don’t want the tip of your liner to wiggle too much because it gets a bit tricky to control) and finally nice color payout. To test the color payout, draw a few lines on your hand to check how the color deposits on your skin. You want to see a nice black line because you don’t want to repeatedly go over your liner to make sure the color is stark enough. Going back and forth tends to get messy, and we certainly don’t want that. I love Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner. It has been my go-to for years, and so far, I haven’t found anything that works quite as well.

ABSOLUTELY! First, practice, practice, practice! My eyeliner game has improved over the years. I would say by now, you can wake me up in the middle of the night, and I could probably do a decent cat-eye liner. But a good trick is to start at the outer corner. The wing is pretty much everything. You want an angled tip that will point up (this will visually elongate your eye and create that cat-eye appearance). To determine the angle:
ONE:
Follow up from your bottom lash line.
TWO:
Draw a single line at the outer corner, then draw another line starting at your upper lash line and connect it to the tip of your original line (essentially, you should end up with a triangle).
THREE:
Fill it in, then continue the upper lash line all the way to the inner corner.

Beaded cape, embellished using Resortecs dissolvable thread, created to aid breakdown in the recycling process and a embellished catsuit crafted by 95% recycled polyester. Although this was exclusively designed for the H&M Fashion Awards, we are starting to see more and more stunning pieces that are sustainable, and let’s be honest.. pretty darn sexy and bold! If there is was only one thing that fashion week has taught us is that we can be eco-friendly while also standing out like the star that you are! H&M have a huge range of sustainable and beautiful pieces, and if I were you, I would be grabbing them while they are still on the shelves.
