elder chair - Carry 長青公寓櫃台扶手椅

針對長青公寓中的服務櫃檯 ( 椅子 ) 進行設計及改良,主要設計特 點為緩衝坐墊以及幫助起身的扶手,並且所有的設定都是參考了老 人的人體計測數據,期望達到好入座,好起身,好舒服這三項目標。 It's a chair for Elder Apartment’s service counter. We refine the current one. The design feature is that it can protect the elder as they fall down in the seat and won't hurt their ass. Also its armrests can help them stand up more easily. It's consider all the data with anthropometry of elder people,

主要支撐 - 臀部、坐骨結構。 座高 - 好的座面高度使人大腿水平、小腿垂直、雙腳平放地面 約 36~48cm,建議前緣離膝窩低 3~5cm 且有 2.5~3.5cm 的弧度 座寬 - 單人約 37~42cm,使人不會感到擁擠又不會使大腿向兩側 尋求支撐造成肩部疲勞,以女性群體尺寸上限為設計依據 座深 - 通常取 36~39cm,應按較小百分位數者設計,以免座位太深, 造成座面前緣壓迫膝窩壓力敏感處使坐者前移得不到靠背支 撐造成疲勞 座面傾角 - 應微向後傾,使人不易滑脫出去,又因重力向後使人獲得 較多靠背支撐,減輕疲勞,傾角約小於 3~4 度,若傾角過大, 將使人坐姿前傾,拉直脊柱,破壞正常的腰椎曲線 靠背寬和高 - 重點支撐在腰部,約離座面高 16.5~21cm 處,寬度約 20~30cm, 為使下背及臀部有適當的後凸空間,下半部離倚面 12.5~20cm 處需留有凹入或開口 靠背傾角 - 統計後約 110 度最為適當 坐墊高度 - 約 2.5cm 高,太軟或太高者不穩會造成疲勞,且需注意散熱、吸 潮、防滑的能力


再經過一些資料蒐集,實驗分析之後。坐墊的部分主要考量有兩個首先是要有 彈性較為大的中間部分,來緩衝老人坐下的速度,像是輕輕托住他們的臀部然 後放下的感覺。其二是當他入座侯,椅墊四周要有較強的支撐力讓身體的力量 能夠集中在中間並且給予舒適穩定的感覺。所以我們透過三中不同特性 ( 彈性、 厚度、密度 ) 的發泡海綿來拚出一張符合這樣要求的椅墊。

針對椅子中可以扶握的部分,再經過一些實驗和修正之後,我們發現接觸 面積不能過小,因為是要撐起身體的話壓力大一定會不舒服。但又需要一 定的厚實感來達成其好抓握的需求。連同椅子的架構一起思考後,我們決 定其寬 4cm 厚 1.5cm 並下接一個半徑為 1.5cm 的半圓形。

After some research and experiment we found that the armrests of the chair should consider the top area (shouldn't be too narrow or it will be too much pressures) and height (to be good to grab).and the final set is like the pictures left.


左右兩側的扶手高度設在好失力的高度,讓長者們方便起身。同時也因為 服務台系統中是桌椅搭配的情形,考慮進出動線的方向性,較低的扶手較 能容許不同方向進入座椅的情形。 We set the armrests of the chair lower than it used to be. Because it would be more easily for the elder to carry themselves up,

2012 Intellgent Smartliving Workshop 智慧化居住空間國際工作坊 - 都市文化脈絡 這次的工作坊,不論是和不同背景出身的同學間的合 作,還是和外國設計師的討論,都收穫滿大的,並且對 於文化脈絡的應用也有更深一層的體會跟想法。 During the workshop, I've learn so much not only from the designers but also from my partners who’s background are not ID. And the designer’s inspiring lectures really make me be more familiar with the relationship between culture and design.

PROCESS & EXPERIMENT 一開始工作營安排我們去體驗了一些傳統的茶以及廟宇文化,因組 員多不是工設出身,我想說可以從一些操作實驗開始來跟他們一起 玩設計,便去買了些小木頭回來一起做了一些關於不同茶的色香味 的保留的實驗。並從中去做一些相關的發想和討論。 In the beginning, we’ve visit some tradition temple and a tradition teashop. As my team member are from different area, I try to doing some interesting experiences with them, like how to keep the teas flever or color in a wood, and maybe the different between teas can tell an interesting story,

設計師 MARK 的演講裡面提到了一些設計特點的掌握方式我覺得很棒,左邊是那 時候提到的四個重點。分別是型態、材質、製作過程以及內涵,這次在操作上為 了不讓設計結果流於虛浮,和組員討論之後我們利用設計的這四個大項目來做為 設計流程中的依據,企圖使最終成果的這四個部分都有其意義。 During the lecture, the designer mentioned about 4 main concept of design just like the picture, we thought that maybe we can take it as our design process. We try to let our design be meaningful in those 4 parts.

culture story 組員裡有一位同學是台南人,在一陣討論之後我們決定擷取台南的傳 統婚禮中,男方訂親時往往需要準備豐盛的六禮來顯示誠意的這個習 俗來當作我們文化元素進行發想。 After some discussion and search, we found that in Tainan, It’s a tradition that if men want to marry a woman, he should prepare 6 gifts for her family, asking for their approval. We decided to use this culture to design. 注 : 傳統的六禮指的是 1. 禮香、禮燭、禮炮 (candle) 2. 大餅 (pancake) 3. 米、糖仔路、 福圓 (dumpling) 4. 盒仔餅 (dessert) 5. 聘金、布料、金飾 (gold Jewelry) 6. 米香餅 (Pop-rice cookie)


CONCEPT 確定文化元素之後我們開始進行設計發想,最後我們選定了做結婚紀念印 章,並依照前面所訂的架構去進行更具體化的構想以及細節處理,設法把每 一個環節都做出其相對應的意涵,讓產品整體能更有份量以及說服力。 After we decided to use the culture story, we started using the structure (CONTENT FORM MATERIA PROCESS) to fulfill our design. CONTENT 台南文化中,傳統六禮的禮俗故事。 The culture story that we found in Tainan FORM 象徵承諾意味的印章作為載體。並搭配傳統的喜慶使用的剪紙花紋 We choose the stamp because it contain a meaning of making promise MATERIAL 選用傳統並且能快速取得加工的素材。 The wood material is an original one and also we can use in short time PROCESS 使用時內外印章的結合象徵同心結合的概念。 This product’s using scenario contains a meaning of being together forever.

Stool Project - Totem 東方凳 - 圖騰

以東方風味的凳子去進行概念發想,練習文化元素的擷取。主要是 想讓傳統的圖騰在新與舊之間發光,每一個圖樣都有他背後的故事 和祝福,而現在我們逐漸的對這些花樣感到陌生與距離。透過雷雕 壓克力的剔透來表現出當代對圖騰全然不同的詮釋。把一針一線的 溫度轉化成零點幾米的細線和面。結合傳統圓凳的圓的造型,彷彿 我們當代華麗透明的外圈其實都含著一圓溫潤典雅的東方文化。 As the topic is a chair with east culture, I tried to grab the element of traditional totem, and reapplied it in different material. Through the pure acrylic with precise lines represent the modern, the cheongsam with pattern stand in the center just like the beauty of those Chinese cultures will always be deep in our heart.

working Process 確認符號象徵 Check the culture DNA *A bat is called bian fu in Chinese, and the sound of fu is a word whitch means good luck and fortune.

轉化符號應用方式 Translating the pattern from embroidery to Laser cutting and I've tried many different kinds of ways to arrange the elements.

TOY PROJECT - BOOMBOOM 玩具槍手套 - BoomBoom

這次的設計題目為玩具,再初步發想之後用了 5W1H 的方法去檢視篩選,最 後定案為玩具手套,把小時候常常隨手比的槍的手勢,結合各類特色的槍, 並切透過手部動作形成圖像來增加趣味,設定目標是讓大家能回憶起童年的 美好時光。 The topic of this project is TOY. After some sketches and brainstorming, I use the design method (5W1H) to check those ideas and then making choice. The final idea is gloves from the concept of what children usually do when they pretend they have a gun. To make it more interesting, I not only combine some famous gun but also set the image to show up after gesturing. And I hope it can remind us that we were easily delighted as we were young.

prototype 確認方向之後,找了一些大家比較熟系的槍,一方面就平面和立體間作 了許多草模來測試,一方面也反覆嘗試原本並不熟系的熱轉印。 In the beginning, I applied some famous gun from movie to do some prototype, trying to figure out a best way to present the 2D pattern into a 3D shape, at the same tome; I tasted few kinds of heat transfer printing.

實 在 的 手 感 。

22designstudio x ciiin workshop 22 設計 x 智慧種子聯盟 - 成大校園紀念品工作營 CONCEPT 這次的工作坊,我們的題目是幫成功大學設計給貴賓的紀念品。在一些發想之後, 我決定從成大給人的印象下手,選定的元素是實在跟務實的精神,透過實石的諧 音也透過觸感的感官印象,再一些實驗之後,做出粗糙手感的石礫馬克杯。 In this workshop, our topic is to design a souvenir for Cheng Kung university .And as people have the impression that students in our school are very pragmatic, after some experiments I try to create a rough surface with stone which can connects to a firm feeling.

Home appliances - Penguin 家電設計 - 吸塵器 以家為核心價值,去思考家電究竟需要怎麼樣的要素讓他有家的感覺而非只是一般電 器,並且練習了 persona 的應用還有 senario 的撰寫。 In this project, we talk about the value of family. Because a home appliance must be used at home, and after the practice of persona and scenario, we were asked to design a product with strong family conscious for a certain kind of people.

Microcosmic 微觀 物 在進入家電課題以前,我們先嘗試去觀察我們生活中的產品,這是 一次微觀物的體驗,把一樣產品拆解到最細節,並精準的側量,之 後透過建模軟體去重現出一模一樣的產品。透過活動我們不只更純 熟的練習建模技巧,還有身為設計師必須具備的,那謹慎且一絲不 苟的態度。 It's a microcosmic experience; we take apart a home appliance, than examine every detail of it. We were asked to build a same 3d model in the end. Through this project, we learn not only the skill of 3D modeling but the meticulous attitude which a designer should require.

persona 因為目標是擁有家的感覺得家電,我想了許多不同的家庭型態,最後想做單親家庭。 所以在角色的選擇上,我參考了一本漫畫中一位單親爸爸跟學齡前的女兒居家生活。 並擴展架構出他們具體生活的樣貌。

Design feature 主要設計是吸塵器前方的顯示面板,希望可以透過 有趣的互動方式來讓小朋友更熱衷於居家清潔的工 作,在過程中也能培養親子間的情感 而造型的設定是因為 persona 的設定所以取企鵝的 造型作簡化,俐落是為了符合家長的品味之外,趣 味性則可以吸引小朋友種動參與,另外也考量了現 有產品在機能上運作的限制。 *the display will creates new scenario of cleaning the living space. Cause through interesting interaction, Parents and kids can both enjoy cleaning house together *construction and the form are according to 1. the persona's set ( parents can guide the kid to enjoy the process of housework ) 2.the existing product (how the machine work, and what's people use to use ) .


Scenario 1 為了提醒使用著時間到了該打掃囉,每次你用完吸塵器,螢幕上 就會留下對企鵝腳印,並且會隨著時間慢慢消失,可以自行設定 五到十天,視使用者居住空間大小決定,而當腳印完全消失的時 候就是該再次打掃房子的時候 To remind the user to clean the house regular, Right after you use the cleaner, it will show a penguin’s footprint on it, than after few days it will gradually disappear, (It depend on your setting and size of house) and it’s time for you to clean your house again.

Scenario 2 透過偵測的原件,空間會被掃描成圖形,並起經由留下足跡的直 覺介面紀錄你已經打掃的部分,當你在同一個地方待的越久,那 一區的腳印也會越亮,可以幫助你確認打掃到所有角落。 Thrugh sensor the room you had already cleaned will show in map, the longer you stay the footprint will be more brighter . and it help you to make sure to clean every corner in your house.

Re 'X 回收與減量 Reuse (v.) --- > Reduce (v.) An Idea of Reuse / Reduce the plastic bags by an easy way, and also can let everyone love and save the Earth by a simple change in daily life.


CONCEPT 塑膠袋已經漸漸變成我們生活中不可或缺的一次性產品,每年每年我們生產製造並消耗了幾 百億噸的塑膠袋,除了方便快速外,盛裝食物如果髒了可以直接丟掉是他的優勢,因此這項產 品並不在於設計替代的環保袋,而是透過便利的容器 ( 吊飾 ) 來延長塑膠袋的週期。 Nowadays, plastic bag is becoming a part of our life. It’s so convenient that we just can’t live without. But it’s also harmful to the environment. As the canvas shopping bag needs to be washed all the time, a product which can help us reuse the plastic bags would be more realistic I think.

Slipup 居家清潔拖鞋組 CONCEPT 這項產品主要的目的是居家清潔,結合了拖鞋和拖 ( 掃 ) 把,希望在 不影響拖鞋原本的使用情境上,同時進行居家簡易清潔的動作,在經 過幾番測試之後我們決定使用靜電紙並且利用側邊縫上鈕扣來做結 合,使他一次能固定許多張但同時又好撕,並且能替換清潔套組。 In this project, we try to figure out a better way to combine the slipper with cleaning paper, so as you wear your slipper at home, you just clean your home at the same time. After some experiments we decide to use the button witch can not only easily hold papers together but tear it, and change the set.

Design process- Brainstorming


Design Guidelines 設計方針 根據 brainstorming 所歸納出的元素,可以用一句話表示我們的設計理念:「自 然而然的生活方式,因懶惰而產生的互動,使清潔更輕鬆方便。」接著,我們 一起整合出我們的設計方針 According to the elements we got in brainstorming, we defined our main concept as "a natural way of living", through a lazy life style; people can clean the house easily. (1) 以”懶”為核心設計相關之產品。 (2) 針對 25~30 歲有自己生活品味的單身族群,生活忙碌,但消費能力有限。 這類族群大多擁有獨自的生活空間-雅房或套房,所以清掃起居等要自己來進 行。 (3) 產品以方便清潔為主,且使用者可自然而然輕鬆完成清掃工作。 (1 ) about LAZY (2) for people around 25-30 years old, they are busy ,and not very rich. They have their own living space, but they have to clean it by themselves. (3) easily clean the house

Deer & Moose 創意手作飾品 Sincerely to my dear&miss 給親愛的 與想念的

2011 年底,因緣際會下我們決定一起做一個創意手做 品牌,其核心精神在於創造出一份能直達心坎的禮物, 所以我們的名字取了親愛的與想念的英文的諧音。目 前我們做了兩季的商品,主要是搭配了溫暖文案的飾 品以及卡片與筆記本。我們的通路是以臉書的粉絲專 業為主並且參加全台灣的創意市集。 Begins in 2011.10, all of us are classmates in school, and we get together trying to build a design brand. The brand’s core spirit is to create a gift with all sincere. So our name is Deer & Moose which just sounds like dear and miss. Now we've already have 2 series products. Most of them are accessory with a warm story we wrote, and we mainly sell product on the internet and design market.

WORK 分工上我們採三個人一組,每個人大概會有兩三樣 工作。前期部分我們分頭找廠商,另外我主要參與 撰寫文案,圖樣繪製,並負責商品攝影,之後加工 寄送以及參與擺攤等則是大家一起通力合作完成。 Before the product been produced, each of us should make some proposal. And we did most of the work together. I take in part of creating story and pattern. I am in charge of photographing our product.

100 reasons for happiness 快樂的一百個理由 CONCEPT 看到別人心情不好我們總會關心,疑為什麼心情不好。不過在生活 裡我們反而很少在快樂地當下記得我們快樂的原因。是因為一頓好 吃的早餐嗎 ? 還是因為一首好聽的歌?是因為天氣嗎 ? 還是因為做 了好夢呢 ? 於是我們決定帶著氣球去交換陌生人快樂的理由,目標 蒐集 100 個快樂的理由,希望大家都能一起分享並好好記得生活 中各種美好的事。而看著一個環境中充滿帶著氣球的快樂人們,心 情也不自覺好了起來呢 ! Most of the time, we remember and complain things that make us upset, but we seldom repeat or remember what’s the reasons that delight us. It’s because the delicious breakfast? or an amazing song? the weather? or just because got a wonderful dream? We bring yellow balloons and try to exchange them for 100 happy reasons of happiness. Encourage people to share and keep those great times in memory.
