Hybrid Fabrications combines robotic Incremental Sheet Forming (ISF) and Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM, 3D Printing) to explore hybrid joints for architectural surfaces. The project began with performance testing of each technique, developed joint strategies, and culminated in wall system prototypes and a facade design for RMIT.

Between & Beyond Future Library: Spatial Transitions for Evolving Ways of Learning 2025

Between & Beyond is a spatial proposal that reimagines the university library beyond its traditional role as a knowledge archive. Instead, it positions the library as an adaptive, inclusive, and interconnected learning system.

By linking classrooms, the atrium, and outdoor areas, the project dissolves rigid sp ational experiences. Learning is no longer confined to isolated rooms, but unfolds across a continuous spatial network.

The design is organized around fluid spatial transitions that connect different learning modes.

From structured teaching spaces to collaborative zones and informal study areas, the library supports varied ways of learning within a unified system.

Extending from the indoor atrium toward outdoor spaces, the project introduces spatial and psychological gradients.

Clearly defined yet flexible zones allow users to move freely and engage with learning at their own pace.

Layered Spatiotemporal is an immersive installation developed for Melbourne’s Now or Never festival, exploring layered reality across physical and virtual environments.

By operating across multiple sites, the project challenges linear notions of space and time, proposing interior experience as interconnected, overlapping, and constantly evolving.

Three sites operate as a connected system

Spatial information—image, sound, and light—is continuously extracted, translated, and redistributed across physical and virtual environments, forming a shared and evolving interior experience.

More Than a Making a Chair to Understand Wood and the Everyday Ritual of Use 2025

More Than a Chair begins with the body rather than the object.

Through an exploration of posture, interaction, and spatial occupation, the project redefines the chair as an active interface between the user and their environment, rather than a singular piece of furniture.

Designed as a mixed-reality encounter, the project invites audiences to explore the world of the Bogong moth through interaction rather than observation— reframing the museum as a space of collective discovery.
