ABOUT ABOUT ME ME ``I am a fourth year architecture student at Polytechnic University in Madrid currently finishing my year abroad at Peter Behrens School of Arts in Düsseldorf, Gemany. I invest my time in a variety of activities relating to the architectural field: 1) Coordinating and participating in workshops 2) Doing extracurricular activities within the university environment associated with some teaching units 3) Curating some exhibitions in diferents schools or architecture through Europe 4) Tutoring students in learning-oriented competitions for graphical design subjects.

I am proactive and trained to work in groups or individually. Social and humanitarian work.

I try to stay up-to-date with daily news.

Photography and sport are my ways of life.´´

UNIT SECTION

To inhabit the land. This has been one of the main attacks of human beings since our species was developed enough to modify the concidions that surrounded it. In its origin it was the cave, the original method of existence in direct contact with the mother rock, but due to the evolution of our cerebral cortex, the habitat of the cave ceased to be the only form of shelter. This, together with the sedentarism, motivated the search for new ways to inhabit the different spaces protecting themselves from the dangers and adversities that the earth offered them.

The solution that was taken countless times was to rise above a benchmark. Either in houses around trees, in hills or mountains that allowed to control all the surroundings, or in constructions of more than one floor that raised us from the ground.

The essence of the project arises from the idea of taking distance from the earth in order to really maintain direct contact with it. A project that is born from the earth but at the same time moves away from it. That maintains the essence of primitive habitability but that has the aim to create a common structure at both a social and formal level that rises above the origin of the human beings

As for the users for whom the project is designed, apart from those who devote themselves to the development of any of the seven arts, it is also designed for anyone who wants to get rich from these, for him or her or for future generations. The multiplicity of creative space possibilities generated by the structure that inhabits the entire area reproduces the conditions of a pseudo-artificial forest where every form of local expression, learning and self-enrichment is allowed, so that the community functions as a collective entity that feeds off what it generates and any external influence.
