WELCOME WHAT’S ON AT THE CHELTENHAM TRUST JANUARY TO JUNE 2026

My first few months at The Cheltenham Trust have been about listening, making connections and opening doors, as we look ahead to 2026 and beyond. It has been brilliant welcoming the community back into the Pittville Pump Room for our pop-up. I’ve loved seeing this beautiful space buzzing with people enjoying the café, free live music and talks and giving their thoughts on the future. I look forward to sharing more of our plans for Pittville Pump Room soon, once the essential works on the floor have been completed. This next season the Town Hall is packed full of exciting events and brings much-loved icons to our stage including the exuberant Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues

Orchestra, Sue Perkins’ first live show in a decade and the unforgettable John Cooper Clarke. At The Wilson, Paula Rego: Visions of English Literature celebrates one of the great printmakers and storytellers of our time. Alongside Paula Rego’s most ambitious and profound series of works in print making: Nursery Rhymes, Peter Pan and Jane Eyre, the exhibition includes personal items, preparatory sketches and etching plates to offer a rare insight into her imaginative, powerful approach. At Leisure at Cheltenham, there are even more ways to join in and exercise with our new Pickleball sessions and Zumba for Kids classes.

At the heart of my vision for The Cheltenham Trust is a renewed focus on joy, connection and belonging. We want everyone to feel welcome in our spaces and have the opportunity to share extraordinary experiences, take part and discover something new. Whether you’re joining us for live music, an exhibition, or an exercise class, I hope you leave feeling uplifted, inspired and part of Cheltenham’s vibrant community. Jessica Brewster CEO

WHISPERS ON THE WALLS SATURDAY 7 MARCH – SUNDAY 31 MAY 2026 THE WILSON ART GALLERY & MUSEUM FREE ENTRY Inspired by the rich narratives found in the work of Paula Rego, Whispers on the Walls is an immersive storytelling art experience that transforms the gallery into an artwork. Blurring the lines between observer and creator, this interactive exhibition invites audiences to step inside stories, leave their mark and uncover hidden narratives etched into every surface. Through hands-on participation, visitors become part of a collective tale — told not just on the walls, but through them.
