Battle of the Books: Read the World gets KS3 students in Gloucestershire reading – open to all schools now! Books can transport us to places we have never been and open our minds to new perspectives. Students are invited to read novels from our list (or select their own) and choose a title they would like to champion, before making a video to persuade our judges that their chosen book is the one that takes the reader on the most interesting and inspiring literary journey. For more information and all resources including the book list, please visit cheltenhamfestivals.com/education/take-part/battle-of-the-books/ Send your video entries to education@cheltenhamfestivals.com by 16 July. Entries will be posted on our webpage and the winning video will be played at Cheltenham Literature Festival 2021.
