REVIEW
Musto Flexlite Vapour range
We’ve been using this kit all summer and can say it is possibly the most comfortable wetuit material we’ve ever tried. So comfortable, in fact, that word has spread and several of the editorial team have tried it (after sanitising, of course, at least once). My colleague Mark, who sails an RS200, tells me: “It has been perfect for me over various conditions. Coming in two parts, the wetsuit is snug, yet easy to put on. It is made from recycled materials and has a high-quality feel to it.” He then passed it onto his daughter’s boyfriend (like I said, it’s done the rounds), who says: “Used for a weekend of team racing at West Kirby in October the wetsuit was warm enough, whilst still being thin enough to providing the fl exibility needed to throw a boat around during a team race. Furthermore, when taken windsurfi ng several more features became apparent: the neck seal does a good job avoiding any water coming down through the top, whilst avoiding being uncomfortable or leaving any marks on the neck; the drainage holes at the bottom of the wetsuit allow any water ingress to easily pass through; and the Kevlar reinforced knee pads o ered plenty of knee protection.” We all agree that Musto have done a great job with their new Flexlite Vapour range, and after all, it was good enough for the British Sailing Team.
