CHELSEA CLASSROOM: Proficiency through cores values

9-10 February 2023 – A learning session on Management Leadership was conducted in Cebu City by Chelsea Shipping HR and Admin Manager, Ms. Sherlyn R. Guerzon. The lessons were divided into two sections: (1) Understanding the Role and Functions of the Supervisor and (2) Learning Supervisory Skills; Management Principles and Four Basic Functions: Leading, Controlling/Motivation along with Coaching and Counseling.

The supervisory training aims to strengthen the manager’s core values and enhance their leadership and communication skills, which can help them develop future team leaders while fostering a positive work environment. A total of 28 participants joined the in-house training session.

STARLITE FERRIES LAUNCHES TWO NEW ROUTES:

Batangas-San Agustin, Romblon (vv) and Cebu-Dapitan (vv)

Starlite Ferries, launched two new routes: Batangas to San Agustin, Romblon (vice versa) and Cebu to Dapitan (vice versa) on 14 February and 17 February 2023 respectively. This brings a total of 15 Starlite Ferries routes nationwide.

According to Starlite Ferries General Manager Shane Arante, the Company chose Dapitan and San Agustin, Romblon as new routes because of their remarkable tourist attractions, offering a countryside experience with beautiful islands and beaches.
