Describe one scenario in your work where you exercised stewardship of your skills/talents/resources/time, etc.
When I was just starting out as a Freight Specialist, I had no background in handling people. Backed up with the support of my Head, I accepted the challenge. I was able to hone my skill in decisionmaking involving the schedule of drivers and trucks to ensure smooth operations. Considerations to be made are the ff: a) the skill of the people; b) familiarity with the areas; c) truck ban hours; d) areas that requires stickers/gate pass; e) traffic; and f) the weather. Little by little, we have adjusted the workflow while ensuring the synergy of the team. Management also awarded the “Malasakit and Matapat” award in recognition to the contribution I had for the Freight Team.

“Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.”
“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me’.”
“I know of no single formula for success. But over the years I have observed that some attributes of leadership are universal and are often about finding ways of encouraging people to combine their efforts, their talents, their insights, their enthusiasm and their inspiration to work together.” ~
