WhatisUnconditional?
Unconditional’s mission is to provide a proven, scalable solution to one of the greatest problems in animal welfare - the fate of senior and special dogs. We believe that every dog deserves a chance to find a family of their own. We’ve seen dogs of all ages, and with all types of disabilities find homes and thrive. Our mission is to work relentlessly to make those matches happen.

We are more than just a rescue! Unconditional is determined to change how the world views senior and special dogs, sharing their can-do attitudes and the joy that they bring. It is our aspiration that everyone who comes into contact with Unconditional will see senior and special dogs in a whole new and positive light.

Foster Program
Currently,Unconditionalrescuesdogsfrompublicshelterswheretheyare atriskofeuthanasiaandplacesthemintemporaryfosterhomes.Our amazingnetworkoffosterfamiliescaresforthedogswewhileweworkto findthemforeverhomes.Thismodelallowsustoprovidecriticalservices fortheseat-riskdogsuntilthephysicallocationofUnconditionalhasbeen built.
Pawtner Program
Unconditionalhasbeenpartneringwithlocalsheltersandrescues since2022tohelppromotetheseniorandspecialdogsintheircare thatneedsomeextrahelpfindingtheirforeverhomes.Rescueisa teamsport!

LetusplayCupidforyou!ThePawfectMatchProgramremovesbarriersto adoptionbymatchingadoptersdirectlytoseniorandspecialdogsinpublic shelters.Weworkdirectlywithadopterstoidentifytheiridealdogandthen provideacuratedselection.PawfectMatchisaboutstreamliningtheadoption processandcreatingtheperfectunion.
Community Education Program
Seniorandspecialneedsdogsarethefastestgrowingshelter population.Tohelpthem,weneedtochangehowpeopleperceive them.OurCommunityEducationProgrampromotesthejoysofadopting andfosteringthesehappy,gentle,lovingdogs.Imagineif,this Christmas,kidswishedforaquirkyoldershelterdoginsteadofanew puppy.
