Definition “It is a type of tourism that includes the current, future, social and environmental impacts that address the desires of the visitors, environment and hosting communities (Lee, 2013).” Management practices and the guidelines to sustainable tourism development can applied to all forms of tourism which includes the destinations, many particular niche tourism segments and most importantly mass tourism (Ruhanen, 2013). The term sustainability refers to the economic, social, cultural, environmental aspect and also the balance between these three aspects to have long terms sustainability. So the sustainable tourism should include the following aspects:
It should make a best use of the environmental resources that is important element in the tourism development industry. Along with this it should also maintain the essential natural processes and also helps in maintaining the natural legacy and biodiversity.
Sustainable tourism must ensure feasible, long term, and socio- economics provided to all the members fairly which in turn include long term employment, opportunities for earning incomes, social services provided to the resident communities and to reduce poverty (Kuščer and Mihalič, 2014).
This tourism helps to preserve the culture of the resident communities, their sociocultural identity, legacy (heritage), traditional values and to contribute inter cultural tolerance.
