A MESSAGE

FROM OUR HEAD OF SCHOOL “We are grateful for what the Lord has done over the past eighteen months, and this is only the beginning.”

The 2021-22 school year was a season of change. We experienced several key leadership changes, people in new roles, and added to our faculty and staff. As a result, we took inventory of what makes the Cottage Hill Christian Academy experience unique. It was evident that God’s hand of provision was present through it all.

It has reminded us that in the history of the Cottage Hill Baptist School System that one thing is constant: God’s faithfulness. Nothing surprises Him and as we look to the future, let us look at some of our accomplishments and advancements over the last 61 years. May we never take for granted the blessings He has given Cottage Hill Christian Academy.

We are excited to share with you the next phase of our Strategic Plan. It is our desire to further extend Cottage Hill Christian Academy’s influence in the greater Mobile area. In planning and praying, I am reminded of Isaiah 30:21, “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to theright or when you turn to the left.” We believe that our greatest days are ahead of us.

VISION STATEMENT In the Cottage Hill tradition, we cultivate authentic community by prayerfully partnering with families to develop tomorrow’s servant leaders today.

FAITH – Believe in the promises of God’s Word, allowing it to transform our lives. “Now Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen.” - Hebrews 11:1 LOVE – God changes our hearts in order to make us capable of love. “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

EXCELLENCE – Striving for excellence should be a part of all we do. “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” - Colossians 3:23-24 ACCOUNTABILITY – We will be held accountable before God, and we are meant on earth to hold each other accountable as brothers and sisters in Christ.
