Dear campers, Even though Yud Shvat has passed, nevertheless, I am sure you all know that the point of Yud Shvat is not just to prepare and make it a special day, but also to take something from Yud Shvat with us for the whole year.
and we need the head to reveal the power in each limb. It is the same with the Moshe in each generation, that we need him to reveal this Koach. This is how Mordechai saved the Yidden. By revealing the Yechida which is the Koach of Mesiras Nefesh, the Yidden didn't give in to any of Haman’s decrees and stood strong throughout.

I love Purim! I get to eat tons of potato chips and wafers and drink dozens of bottles of grape juice and Mondos... But my favorite part of Purim is getting to wear a costume! This year I’m going to dress up as a camper. I’ll just put on smelly clothing. That reminds me of the time when I dressed up like a Kallah. That was better than being a Chosson because I didn’t have to break my Kup. Ouch! That hurts.
Now that I’m already on the second column I’ll tell you about the Purim special: The earlier you sign up to camp the more money you save! Well, not really you but your parents save the money, and they can use it to buy you a real Purim costume! For example you can dress up like a gefilte fish. Wow! I can’t believe I thought of that all by myself. I’m so creative I should be a NAD!

Continued from last edition, please look back to last month’s newsletter to read about the incredible journey I took to track down the world renowned Mohel, survival director and in general good-guy Zushe Der Mohel. Finally after days (weeks?) I arrived in Buenos Aires, Argentina and found him milking a cow so that the Yidden could have Kosher milk (this may or may not be exact information). We sat down for the interview though he wanted to do it in the wild, I convinced him to do it indoors (I’m the scared-ofeverything type) and I got my precious recorder out and boom: BW: ZUSHE! Vos Machsdu? SDLTGTKHCTLZD MZNS: What? Please no English! BW: Okay, let’s try that again, Hey Zushe How are you? SDLTGTKHCTLZDMZNS: Ah, that I’m understanding much better. I’m Boruch Hashem great

BW: Do you know what I went through to find you? SDLTGTKHCTLZDMZNS: Of course! I “readid” the newsletter last month BW: AH, great to know. Anyway, the first question obviously has to be, are you the one who writes the Dear Diary? SDLTGTKHCTLZDMZNS: (laughing) I try not to write anything in English. Maybe I’ll write a dear diary in Hebrew? SDLTGTKHCTLZDMZNS: Also, please correct all my speaking spelling mistakes. BW: Whatever that means BW: Anyway, what are you up to in this far away land SDLTGTKHCTLZDMZNS: See, when I left Chayolei, I had to go as far as I could from civilization (ouch, I’m always hurting my teeth) no. I’m joking. I came to Shlichus to work in the Beis Chabad (Chabad House - ED) here and to continue my learning. BW: And to Aibidoo La Aibidoo? SDLTGTKHCTLZDMZNS: OF COURSE! Everything else. BW: and do you have “act out” camp there in Argentina? SDLTGTKHCTLZDMZNS: Every day is camp. I tried running away a few times. I have late nights when the Shliach lets me and he gives me popcorn. And my whole life on the streets iz one big survival BW: Did you survived de Survival? SDLTGTKHCTLZDMZNS: Yes and I made signs BW: Will we see you back in America and in camp?

The Seudah was over and Mivtzoim done, I was alone on the couch. I wasn't as drunk as you'd think I am. My mother brought out some watermelon and she announced that "it’s seedless". I'm sure you know that the Torah has a lot of stories in it. I'm also sure you know that the Torah has a lot of Halachos in it. What I'm not sure is whether or not you know that hidden in the Torah are secret codes which hint at everything that ever was, is, or will ever be. In Megillas Esther we read about the hanging of the ten sons of Haman. Did you notice among their names 3 small letters? The name Parshandasa has a small Tav, the name Parmashta has a small shin and the name Vayezassa has a small Zayin. According to Gematria Tav equals 400, Shin equals 300 and Zayin equals 7; together that's 707. Well, guess what happened during the year (5)707? Ten Nazis were hung, and one killed himself! And that's not all -- one of these Nazis, a terrible murderer
named Julius Striecher, had to be dragged to the gallows by force. Finally, when he was about to die, he said his last words. Do you know what they were? "Purimfestival 1946!" Comparing his hanging to Purim. The Navi Yeshaya tells us that one of the things that will happen at the time of Geulah is that all the non-Jews will recognize Hashem as the One and only G-d, and they will serve him. Sure enough one of the ways this is happening is in the codes hidden in the Torah. Recently, a book was written about the Torah Codes and thousands of non-Jews bought it and were talking about it. In fact all the newspapers wrote about it. They are now beginning to see that the Torah could not possibly have been written by a human-being.

During the Holocaust, a large group of Jewish women were rounded up to be sent to the gas chambers. As the group gathered their possessions to take with them into the camp, the Nazi officer in charge informed the Polish passerby, "These Jews are never coming back. Anything that they leave behind you may take for yourselves!"

The boys confirmed that a Jewish name was inscribed on the necklace but did not know what to say. They recommended that she send a letter to the Rebbe explaining everything. She sent off the letter and received a speedy reply saying that it is clear from the facts that she is a Jewish girl and since she has a special talent, she should use her invaluable skills in Israel, a place in desperate need of talented pediatricians. She took the Rebbe's advice and moved to Israel where she approached a BeisDin who declared her Jewish. She was accepted into a hospital to work, and she met her husband and raised a family. Some years later, this woman was walking together with her husband, when suddenly there was a terrorist attack at the Sbarro cafe in the center of Yerushalayim, Chof Av 5761. She told her husband to return home to the kids and she proceeded to rush to the scene where she treated the wounded and helped the injured to the hospital.
When she arrived at the hospital she met an elderly man who was in a state of shock. He was searching everywhere for his granddaughter who had become separated from him. She calmed him down and went with him to search amongst all the patients in order to find his granddaughter. Asking how she could recognize her, the frantic grandfather gave a rough description of a gold necklace that she was wearing. After searching amongst the injured, they finally found the granddaughter who was wearing the necklace. At the sight of this necklace, the pediatrician froze. She turned to the old man and said "Where did you buy this necklace?" "You can't buy such a necklace" he responded, "I am a goldsmith and I made two of them. One for each of my daughters. This granddaughter is wearing one of them. The other necklace was lost forever. It was hanging around my baby daughter’s neck when she was taken away from us as we waited alongside the tracks to be deported.� The pediatrician pulled out her necklace and showed it to him. Nobody said a word. Sometimes there is simply nothing to say. The pediatrician had just found her father.

Summary: When Avigdor visited the Baal Shem Tov he explained to him that we have to thank Hashem for everything that we have. And he asked him to deliver a letter to Harav Tzadok the Rabbi of his city - Brod. After the visit Avigdor still thought that all of his money came from his hard work. Several years past and Avigdor lost all of his money, just when he was about to sell his last coat, he found the letter that the Baal Shem Tov asked him to deliver to Harav Tzadok 16 years earlier. He went right away to find the Rabbi, on the way he found out that he became the Rabbi of the town that morning, and the Baal Shem Tov gave him the letter 16 years ago… Avigdor easily found Harav Tzadok and gave him the letter…

Reb Mordechai Lepler once said by a Farbrengen that one must be a Baal Gaava. At first glance this sounds outrageous. In Chabad we always Koch in not being a Baal Gaava and having Bitul! He went on to explain what he means: When the Yetzer Horah creeps in and tries to push you into doing something...
