Our curriculum is taught through a Christian worldview and also includes daily Bible lessons and weekly chapel services.
NURTURING TEACHERS
Our teachers know and love their students and create a safe environment where kids can grow into who God created them to be.
A variety of research indicates that students who are in smaller classes in the early grades do better in every way that can be measured: they receive better grades, score higher on tests, and miss less school.
SMALLER CLASSES
We have a low student-teacher ratio, which enables us to encourage participation, monitor progress, and know our students.
Through a variety of assessments, we measure growth at regular intervals - keeping parents informed of progress.
National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) studies show that students who attend private Christian schools through eighth grade are twice as likely as their public school peers to complete a bachelor’s or higher degree.
INDIVIDUALIZED INSTRUCTION
Our teachers know that all students are unique learners, so they provide individualized instruction and small group learning.
Movement breaks can increase students’ desire to learn, reduce boredom, and increase attentiveness
Kids were made to move. At The Glenwood School, learning is enhanced by embedded movement throughout the school day.
