Bothwell woman wins $100K
The Chatham Voice
Sherry Parnall of Bothwell has said yes to ENCORE since winning $5,000 many years ago. This time, she won $100,000 on Sept. 30. “I always check my tickets right after the draw so that usually means I check late into the evening. I should have waited until the next day because as soon as I learned that I was a big winner, I didn’t sleep a wink,”
Parnall said in a media release. The busy mother, grandmother and great grandmother is currently raising three of her 20 grandchildren. “It’s an absolute joy but very hectic!” In addition to a new van, Sherry plans to put down
some roots. “I’ll be looking for a three bedroom house close to schools and my sister.
My granddaughters are going to be so excited to have a new place to call home!”
The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Grand Avenue in Chatham.
