The sky was buzzing at the Chatham Municipal Airport last week as aircraft hobbyists launched their model aircrafts into the sky at the 10th annual ThunderThrust event Sept. 17. Not your typical models, these aircraft are able to achieve speeds of more than 200 km/h. Preparing for a practice flight are Mike Stephenson, owner of a PC 21 Turboprop, with help from George Stalk and Pete Doupnik, organizer of the event. ThunderThrust is the last event at the airport for the 2022 year, capping a successful and busy season.
