The strike is on and LCBO workers, like these at the outlet on St. Clair Street in Chatham, are continuing to picket. The Chatham-Kent employees are among 9,000 LCBO staffers that are currently on strike. Issues include Premier Doug’s Ford plan to expand canned alcoholic beverage sales into more retail outlets around the province, wages, and the fact that 70 per cent of LCBO employees are part time and without benefits.
