During the 2024-2025 giving year, we raised over $200,000 for the Annual Fund with participation from 100% of CDS families, 100% of Board members, 100% of faculty and staff.
As always the Annual Fund is our single biggest indicator of community health and engagement.
We thank the following companies for their generosity through the Matching Gift program.
The Casino Royale Gala was a smashing success, and provided an evening of great camaraderie and successful fundraising for the school.
A special thanks Gala Chair Britt Ryan and her team of volunteers. This was Britt’s third Gala and, as usual, she worked tirelessly to produce a wonderful event.

We are excited to see you at this year’s Back to the 80’s Gala Save the date - April 18, 2026!

This year’s Fund-A-Need focused on enhancing one of the most cherished areas on our campus—the playground. Thanks to the generosity of our community and the success of the Casino Royale Gala, we raised over $60,000 to begin a complete renovation and upgrade of this beloved and well-used space. The vision for the project is a comprehensive transformation, featuring modern, safe, and engaging play structures designed for children up to twelve years old. We have established a committee of community members who will offer input throughout the planning and development stages. We aim to create a vibrant and welcoming play environment that will serve our students for years to come.
