SERVICE LEARNING TRIPS
Foreign travel awards provide an opportunity for students to travel abroad (under the guidance of a faculty mentor) in order to pursue interests that are personally meaningful. These opportunities genuinely put the place in place-based learning, as they provide opportunities for students to travel to the very source of a subject in which they have a deep level of interest and curiosity.
Chatham Hall offers uniquely designed service learning trips to South Africa, India, and Finland and Estonia along with our partner, Alterra Global Initiatives. These travel experiences provide the perfect backdrop for fun and rewarding experiential discovery.
FRENCH & SPANISH IMMERSION There is incredible value in learning a language and culture from the inside out. Chatham Hall’s study abroad programs in Spain and France offer students the ability to become immersed in their language of study by living with a host family, attending language school, and traveling within their host country.
