The Chatham Hall Academic Support Program provides the opportunity for each student to meet (and exceed) her full educational potential. We know every student benefits from a different level of support, so we’ve created layers of offerings to make sure we meet girls where they are.

COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT

Our program is led by a full-time learning support professional and a team of faculty academic support counselors who guide students with personalized strategies to address any challenges they face in reaching their own individual learning potential. Plus, all faculty stay fully engaged to help students balance their academic assignments and extracurricular lives with encouragement and follow through.

We also offer the option to participate in our Comprehensive Approach to Mastery Support (CAMS) Program.

CAMS is designed for students who are intellectually prepared for a strong college preparatory environment but who have an identified learning difference or demonstrated skill deficit.

The primary goal of this program is to stretch students’ abilities by providing close faculty support, while also providing the space to achieve their own growth and development. As a part of CAMS, a dedicated, specially-trained team creates a custom, individualized plan for each participant.

PREPARATION

In addition to our in-depth College Counseling Program, Chatham Hall offers optional test preparation for the SAT and ACT college entrance exams.

Students who take part in our Academic Support Program at any level experience rewards that reach well beyond their time at Chatham Hall. Because they have built strong competencies of selfawareness they know when and how to ask for help; they know their strengths and how to create conditions for optimal study habits; they have mastered time management; and they excel in college and beyond.
