CB Group Recover Together – Pop Ups Pt 2

I want to thank everyone for all their efforts throughout the year and in particular during this challenging period of Covid-19, where your commitment and bravery have been tested like never before.

The continued success of our company is built on the efforts of all of us, and we must strive to find new ways to navigate this period of uncertainty.

Our success as an organization will depend upon us adjusting our mindset and understanding that, sales, accountability, and security are everyone’s responsibility.

Sales - We need everyone’s creativity and ingenuity.

Accountability - This is not accounting, but about each person’s work ethic and personal responsibility for his or her tasks.

Security is our future. Without securing our present, there will be no tomorrow.

While we have seen many challenges due to Covid -19, I believe that we will come out of this period a stronger company. Our live production department did not ease up and have continued the construction of state of the art solidside wall buildings, which will positively affect our production costs, while at the same time ensuring that we have enough broiler birds to supply our new processing plant.

Let us all continue to push forward in optimizing our areas of operation knowing that we have the noble task of feeding a nation.

In an effort to give back to those frontline workers who have often been overlooked, the Recover Together teams continued on the journey around the island. Black River Hospital

On June 19th our team rolled out to the Parish of St. Elizabeth to distribute 200 meals to the staff of the Black River Hospital. The meals were prepared by Waterloo Guest House, staff was really appreciative and was sure to enjoy lunch.

June 23rd we headed to the Horizon Adult Remand Centre to distribute goodie bags of chicken and pork, sufficient for over 1330 meals to its staff. The team was greeted by officers in charge, who gave a short tour and introduction to the facility. Again, gratitude was extended to us for our consideration.

We then headed across the waters to JUTC Portmore Depot as well as to JUTC Rockfort Depot to distribute 600 meals prepared by CB Foods customer Jungle Fyah. JUTC truck drivers, customer service reps, and yard and maintenance workers were all appreciate. Management applauded CB Group for the donations and for simply thinking of them. part Two Horizon Correctional Centre (KGN), Portmore JUTC and Rockfort JUTC
