ast week it was announced that out of 820 communities across Canada, the Chase Skate Park was chosen as one of the Final Four in the Kraft Heinz Project Play contest. As a finalist, the Chase Skate Park will be awarded at least $20,000, but the group of volunteers who made the nomination are determined to keep the momentum going and win the Grand Prize of $250,000 towards a recreational upgrade.
On July 25th at 9 am PST, voting opens at www. KraftHeinzProjectPlay.com and goes for 24 short hours only! “This is our chance, to finally get the skate park that so many batches of kids have worked for over the years,” said Marie Vogel, who is part of the group who made the nomination.
