Pump Track News submitted by Tyler Harper

As the weather warms up and people in Chase are dusting off their bikes, the Youth Action Committee is proud to spearhead the construction of a dirt pump track here in Chase. A Pump Track is a series of rollers and banked turns used primarily to help teach mountain bike techniques. The target age range for this track is between 6-16 years old but will be fun for all those who ride a bike. Currently the nearest pump tracks are located in White Lake, Kamloops and Sun Peaks. Youth Action is a committee of the Village of Chase that works to create active opportunities for youth in Chase and area. This project was approved by the Village Council March 14th, 2023 and we expect to start construction in the coming weeks. This fun, free, and healthy outdoor activity will be located on Village of Chase property behind the Art Holding

Arena on part of the land previously used by Tree Top Flyers. It will provide another option for youth to learn new skills and remain active in our Village.
