Legion’s Veterans Dinner

hase Legion Br. # 107 - Veterans Dinner was held Tues. June 6th, 2023 - honouring and remembering the service of all Canadian and especially local Soldiers. Over 51 Veterans and their partners and guests were able to attend this year's Dinner. The Chase Legion Ladies Auxiliary once again prepared a Dinner fit for our Veterans, a Garden Salad, Chicken Cordon Bleu with Boulenase Sauce, Roasted Small Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Carrots, Broccoli, Cauliflower, buns, pickles, olives, butter,
coffee, tea, water or an adult refreshment. As David Turner provided a soothing friendly background music on the Piano, people began to see friends and find chairs. At the call of the Sergeant At Arms Andrew Schmidt, Legion Piper John Angus, Piped the Veterans into their chairs and the evening began.. Chase Legion President Paul O s a d c h u k r e m i n d e d everyone about Real Estate Advisorwhat D-Day Means and has meant to our Canadian identity and to our families in our community of Chase.
