Over 130 Quilts Made & Donated submitted by Marjorie Erno, Chase County Quilters
or the past 10 years, Chase Country Quilters, a group of 25 ladies who gather Monday & Wednesday mornings at Parkside Community have made quilts for donation. In 2018 we donated 136 quilts. 41 to Chase & Area Newborns through the Public Health Nurse, 38 to RIH Cancer, 34 to RIH Pediatrics, 5 to RIH Renal Dialysis, 5 to Kamloops Hospice, 5 to Chase Victim Services, and 7 to groups in Chase for fundraising - Team Chase, Fish & Game, Chase Heat Hockey, Chase Legion

Telethon, Chase Museum, Parkside Serving Chase & Area Community, Chase Rotary and 1 to a fire victim. We always have quilts for sale & use this revenue for purchase of fabric, batting, thread and sewing notions. We present a Show & PLUS Sale every October. We are 124A CHASE ST. 250-679-2950 presently putting some funds Knitting, Quilting, Craft Supplies, etc aside/towards purchase of a long arm quilt machine and hope to do some extra VOTE FOR KEN ROBERTSON fundraising TO THE OFFICE OF NESKONLITH COUNCILLOR this year.
