he Chase and District Festival Society invites everyone to join us for an evening of hope and resilience, as we come together to support our friends, families, and neighbours affected by the wildfires in the Shuswap. The originally scheduled Music on the Lake event for August 29th will now start at 6pm and include performances by The Liz Blair Project, Ben Klick, and Chase’s own Tanner Dawson. Admission to the show is by donation and all funds raised will be directed to the Shuswap Community Foundation’s
Emergency Response Fund. Though the Shuswap is well known for its natural beauty, it’s our unwavering community spirit and support that truly makes this area so wonderful. Together we can help heal and rebuild! If you have been collecting stamps as part of the Lakeside Summer Music Series, please remember to bring your card, with your contact information filled in, so you can be entered into the door prize draws that will happen during the show on August 29th.
