Partnering for Innovation
From frictionless markets to food automation and virtual restaurants – our new partners in technology help us take our dining experiences to new heights. Faster, Fresh-Baked Tasty Pizza
CHARTWELLS BRINGS THE FIRST AUTOMATED PICNIC PIZZA STATION TO TEXAS A&M Texas Aggies are now enjoying the perfect pizza, made to order by an automated machine. Here’s how it works: After loading the dough, Picnic Pizza Station applies the sauce, cheese and fresh-cut toppings. Every hour, the Picnic Pizza Station can assemble up to 100 pies. Now that’s fast! Customized pizzas are then loaded into the ovens to cook. This helps Texas A&M Dining reduce food waste while using cost-effective technology to craft pizzas.
