What's in Store for Fiscal Year 2023/2024
Moving the Mission Forward
This fiscal year, we have so many reasons to celebrate! Every donation, every volunteer, and every prayer allows us to further our mission. We are incredibly grateful for the support and faithfulness of those who help Charlotte County Habitat continue our work. We have many people who donate their time building homes, helping in one of our four ReSale stores, assisting in our office, or volunteering on one of our committees. Others have donated their new and gently used items to our ReSale stores or given a financial donation to help us purchase building materials. Everyone deserves the security and stability of a decent home they can afford, but for many, having a safe place to call home is out of reach. All of these gifts, time and financial support help us provide affordable homeownership to Charlotte County residents.

Last fiscal year, we helped 18 families realize the American Dream of affordable homeownership. This fiscal year we are partnering with 28 families to build 28 homes. We have overcome the challenges of COVID-19 and are still recovering from Hurricane Ian, but even as we celebrate, we know that our community is facing an affordable housing crisis and our work is needed now more than ever. A world where everyone has a decent place to live isn’t something we long for, we are building toward that hope every day!
Despite the challenges we face, we continue to move forward together and make a difference in the lives of many. Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope – one family, one neighbor, and one house at a time.

To us here at Charlotte County Habitat, our volunteers are priceless. Their donation of time and talent are essential to our mission of providing affordable homeownership in Charlotte County. There are multiple opportunities to volunteer throughout our organization and we are sure to find the perfect activity for you. Our greatest need at this time is for construction volunteers. No experience is necessary. Our site supervisors will show you everything you need to know. Volunteering on our construction sites is the perfect activity for team building, youth groups or families.
