If you’re local to The Bearhouse in Cornwall, then you may have popped along to our Summer Fair last month . We had a juvenile carousel, bouncy castle, ball pit, lots of games like ring toss, basketball and hook-a-duck There were even some competitions including: Best Dressed Bear (judged by Charlie), ‘guess the bear’s name’ which was ‘Robyn’, and there was even a raffle with prizes won by three lucky attendees!
The event was fun for all ages, and our Charlie Bear mascot had a paw-some time meeting and greeting everyone . The end of the day called for a sweet treat, and we were lucky to have some yummy food and ice cream available to buy

It’s reveal time again! In the last issue we gave you two clues to work out the names of the next two Charlie Bears characters to be launched on QVC this month Did you manage to crack the puzzles and be one of our bearilliant Teddy Detectives? Answers to the puzzles are shown here...
To see the riddle, written inside the middle of the illustration, you needed to hold a mirror against the page and then work out the answer
To work out the name of the second character, you needed to work out that the answer to the riddle was the What3Words App and then in the quote, the 3 words that were highlighted in a different colour, island, classic and chuckling where the What3Words you needed to find the location that was also the name of our bear .
Of course the place where Wendy, John, Tinkerbell and Peter Pan all play is…
“As the sun sets over the tranquil island The bear cubs gathered round the bonfire. Sharing classic tales and stories Their chuckling could be heard well into the night.”
But of course we didn’t want to make it too easy for you, so the words weren’t written in the correct order! You had to juggle them around until you tried: chuckling.island.classic in the App, which gave you the location…
Congratulations if you worked them both out, you really are a bear-illiant Teddy Dectective! On the next page we’ve got a sneaky peek of both Neverland and Gisburn, exclusively for our Best Friends ahead of their debut on the QVC UK shows in September.
