The 7th of November is National Hug a Bear Day. This is an extra special day at Charlie Bears as it is all about celebrating you and your collection. Of course we understand that every day is a ‘hug a bear day’, but on the 7th of November we like to take a moment to really appreciate the artistry behind the bears as well as giving them the best hugs and some extra special attention.
There’s lots of ways to celebrate Hug a Bear Day; you can take your bears for a picnic - inside or outside - and have a tea party, or you can bake some treats like cookies or a recipe from one of our recipe cards, you can even host your own Hug a Bear party online or by inviting your friends and their Charlie Bears over. There’s a whole host of activities you can do to celebrate the day and we would love to know how you are choosing to celebrate. Be sure to post all your photos or videos on The Secret Cupboard Group on Facebook or by emailing us directly.
You can even help us celebrate! Be sure to send us a photo or video of you hugging your chosen Charlie Bear to chronicle@charliebears.com by the 5th November 2024, and you could be featured on our social media pages!

Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December are the dates for our annual up to 50% off sale (on selected Charlie Bears). Sparkle Weekend is the name for our in-person event, where you can visit the UK Bearhouse, or the USA or Australian Cubhouses, and shop to see which Charlie Bear has chosen you. Snuggle Weekend is the name for our online event where you can browse on our websites to find the bear that chooses you!

Our top 3 tips to make the best of the weekend!
1. Arrive early
If you’re going to our in-person event we always recommend arriving as soon as you can so you can avoid disappointment.
2. Keep checking
Over the weekend there will be waves of characters that get added to the sale (at both our in-person event and our online events), so be sure to keep checking our website, or taking a second look as you walk around.
3. Have fun
Pour yourself a cup of tea, visit us with your favourite friends, and enjoy a weekend of Charlie Bears discounts. We want to make sure all of our Best Friends and collectors have the best time as they are shopping. Be sure to post photos of your weekend and tag us so we can share the Charlie Bears love, and if you have any questions or queries then you can reach out to your regional customer services team.
We love seeing all of your Charlie Bears hugs, pets that look like Charlie Bears, and your Charlie Bears displays. Be sure to send in any photos - or stories - you may have, by emailing chronicle@charliebears.com.
Jade sent us a photo of 7-year-old Harper who is starting her collection young! Three Charlie Bears within a month of starting her collection, and she loves telling them her secrets. Thank you Jade, we can’t wait to see who Harper collects next.
Spotted in our Facebook group, London got all dressed up for Halloween in October. We hope he and owner Kathy had a paw-some time!
We have the magical Fairy Story looking extra comfortable with Charlotte’s beautiful display. A stunning way to make sure Fairy Story feels wonderful in their new home.
Hernie has the paw-fect photo of Folk Tales and Fables. The pair look like quite content as they watch time go by. We love seeing bears with their pairs.
