LIFESTYLE at a glance Pickleball at Cresswind PTC is a huge hit, and we have over 160 members of our club. While you don’t need to join the club to play at Cresswind (play is open to all residents), the club offers extra benefits that are worth the $15 annual membership fee.

Our club is designed to help our neighbors learn and play Pickleball in a fun environment that encourages group play and social interaction. While playing, we get to know our neighbors and have fun while doing it!

The Pickleball Club offers many different opportunities to play Pickleball in varying levels of abilities. We offer weekly roundrobin play (where you sign in and play in a rotation of partners), ladder play (which is a more competitive setup of play where you are matched with a group and as you earn points in the matches you move up and down to other groups), invitational tournaments (competitive teams matched against other neighborhoods), and blocked times of “open” play each week where anyone can come and play in a friendly and noncompetitive rotation.

robin events with a picnic/ meal afterwards to promote the social opportunities for our club members. We also offer many opportunities for our members to learn about playing Pickleball.

These include new-player orientations held 10 times a year for anyone to learn about the game and how we do things here at Cresswind PTC, beginner and novice workshops to encourage new players to learn, private and group lessons offered by certified Pickleball instructors, and coaching for beginners by dedicated volunteers to help newer players gain more confidence.

Many of our members have also decided to play in competitive tournaments both locally and around the country and have come home with many gold, silver, and bronze medals to show off!

Whatever your goals in Pickleball, our club can help you achieve them! Come and check us out! Our club book in the hallway by the ballroom has membership forms. Also, by the courts, the hours for open-play are posted. Come down to the courts to watch and meet your neighbors who play--we’re always happy to help you get started on your next sport: PICKLEBALL!!!
