[IN]ARCH PART 3
The final assignment for the [IN]ARCH program was to take our two objects from the last assignment and combine them to create a folly that would be theoretically constructed somewhere on the UC Berkeley campus. We also had the additional constraints of having to fit our folly within a volumetric bounding box and to have a functioning bathroom. One aspect of UC Berkeley I noticed while I was there was the many different ways to access and move throughout the campus, and the many different vantages from outside to look in and from inside to look back out onto the rest of campus, Berkeley, and the greater San Francisco area. I aimed to explore these concepts with my folly. This project is all about movement and the ways you look into the folly and back out at the campus. That is why I created the base I have shown in my rendering: to allow one to fully access this folly from any vantage. I also continued to explore a concept I explroed in my previous objects in creating an object that looks different from every angle and creates different moments of tension and visual interest. want to note that all the supplemental drawings
