Grab & Go EASY SNACKS

It is so easy to straight to the bag of Doritos or Cheetos when you come home and are starving. Before you jump to junk food to satisfy your hunger, try simple snacks such as:

• Cut up apple with peanut butter and/or a dash of cinnamon

• Pretzels with cream cheese

• Popcorn sprinkled with your spice of choice

3). Review your notes by highlighting key terms that you know and do not know.

4). Take breaks as needed. If you are getting sleeeeeepy, you will not retain as much info, so take those mini brein breaks.

5).Ask for help if needed. Maybe a friend or family member can quiz you.

6). Organization is KEY.

A lot of students do not use their school email as often as they should. Email etiquette is the number one way to get communication going with your teacher. Below is a sample of what you should do when writing an email:

Subject: Touching Base - Grade in ____

Greetings Mr. or Ms. __________,

I hope this email finds you well. I am emailing about my current grade in ________. Can you let me know when would be a good time for me to visit with you?
