OUR HISTORY The Charger Bulletin started as the student news source of New Haven College in 1938. Formerly know as “The News,� its name was changed in 1986 to the Charger Bulletin. The Bulletin launched online in 2007 with chargerbullletin.com, and created its official mobile app in 2014. In 2017, the Charger Bulletin broke into broadcast with the beginning of Charger Bulletin News, a weekly TV newscast.

Who We Are Now Today, the Charger Bulletin is the premiere media outlet for the University of New Haven and West Haven communities. Expanding past the medium of print, the Charger Bulletin delivers content online, via email, through its app, and now through Amazon Alexa and Apple News. Content is also delivered through the Charger Bulletin Podcast Network, Charger Bulletin News, the Charge-Up, and through our various social media outlets.

Charger Bulletin NEws This is Charger Bulletin News. Charger Bulletin News started in 2017 as a way for the Charger Bulletin to expand its coverage to video. CBN is filmed at our studio in the Department of Communication, Film, and Media Studies at the University of New Haven. Crew and talent positions are 100% student-filled. The host for the Spring 2018 season is Mitsouki-Garvey Sanchez, a senior. The editor in chief serves as the executive producer and the multimedia editor serves as director and producer.
Th e C h a rge-U p It’s Time to Get Charged Up The Charge Up is the sports show hosted by the Charger Bulletin. It gives students a voice on their favorite teams, and gives new perspective to Chargers Athletics. Hosts James Cassidy, Chris DiGeronimo, Devon Maida, and Erik Nybro, junior sports management majors, go in-depth on the many D2 and club sports at the University of New Haven. They also talk with coaches and players to get an inside look at #ChargerNation.
