The Soloist hit theaters Friday, April 24, and both Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. contribute outstanding performances. As a matter of fact, I can’t picture any other two actors better for their roles. The movie is based on the true story of Nathaniel Ayers Jr. (Jamie Foxx), a musical (cello) prodigy, and

chemistry between him and Robert Downey Jr. makes it hard to turn away from. Most of the best scenes of the movie are when the two appear on the screen together.
