b a n n e r season on the ice has been just as successful off it for Jordan Carroll of the Sudbury Cubs, who has been named the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League’s scholastic player of the year. With the honour comes a $1,000 scholarship on behalf of RBC to help defer costs of a postsecondary education. Carroll also becomes the NOJHL’s nominee for the Hockey Canada/ Canadian Jr. Hockey League RBC scholastic player of the year award, which will be announced during the upcoming Royal

Bank Cup in Humboldt, Sask. That recipient will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
