O
Shown above, wearing the mask is Darcy "Constantine" Gibson a.k.a. Darcy Roy in his first pro wrestling match.
n January 31, 2009 a local man finally lived his dreams. Darcy Roy, son of Yvonne and Gib Roy, now a resident of Sault Ste. Marie wrestled in his very first pro wrestling match at the George Leech Centre. All his life, he dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler and now after all the hard work it finally paid off. Darcy wrestles with SAW (Sault Area Wrestling)
a company that owns two territories in Northern Ontario alone. The ring that S AW u s e s o n c e belonged to the now defunct but legendary and infamous ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) out of Philadelphia. Under the ring names Darcy “Constantine” Gibson, he brings to the ring a new kind of action such as a Brazilian martial art known as Capoeira and his life
long knowledge of stunt work. A sure fire Contender for the light heavyweight belt called the “Adrenaline Title” he hopes to one day soon wear the title around his waist and establish his dream and hopefully one day fight on netw ork television. Keep your eyes and ears open because soon everyone will know the name Darcy “Constantine” Gibson.
