Dear Pre I,
What a joy it has been to be your teachers during your first year at Chapel! We have grown so much and learned that we can all be friends and share wonderful moments together. It has been a privilege to witness these changes up close. We are excited to hear about the rhymes and stories you will create in the years to come. Come visit us anytime — we will miss you dearly!
Love,
Ms. Carolina Amaral and Ms. Tarsila Siqueira

This year felt like spring because we bloomed and, like flowers in a garden, helped each other grow!

We are carrying into our next season: the friendships we built in our classroom and within the Pre I team!

A moment when we realized we were growing was when two new friends joined our community. We remembered our classroom rules and routines and realized we knew them well enough to teach and share with others.

We are leaving behind: all the love, kindness, and care we shared with our teachers and classmates.

Dear Pre I,
We want to take a moment to tell you how thankful we are for each and every one of you. It has been such a joy to spend our days together — learning, exploring, sharing ideas, and creating so many happy memories. You are a truly special group, and you have brought so much joy into our lives. Every smile, every question, and every little moment we shared has meant more than you know.
Thank you for being yourselves, for making our classroom such a happy place, and for filling our days with love and laughter.
With all our hearts,
Ms. Emanoelli do Valle and Ms. Julia Lopes

This year felt like spring because we were blossoming and showing just how unique and special each of us truly is.

We are leaving behind: hesitation and uncertainty, as we have grown more confident, brave, and willing to try new things.

Dear Pre I,
You are a group as bright and kind as each of your beautiful hearts. You made our year full of joy, and teaching you has been such a gift. Watching you grow into confident, kind, and curious learners has made us incredibly proud. We will always carry a little piece of you with us. It will be such a pleasure to watch you continue to grow year by year, and you are always welcome to come visit us anytime!

As you step into 3rd Grade, our biggest wish is that you continue to be brave, curious, and always respectful to everyone you meet. Remember to carry your friends, the important lesson that hard work matters, our amazing memories, and your teachers – right in your hearts!

This year felt like spring and summer — because we blossomed, loved learning new things, and had so much fun working as a team with our friends.

A moment we realized we were growing was when the year started flying by. We noticed our brains getting stronger as we spelled more challenging words, learned new math, and needed fewer corrections in Being a Writer. We also began speaking mostly English instead of Portuguese. We felt proud when we got to play real instruments in Music classes and bring our own snacks to recess.
A challenge that changed us this year was working hard to speak only English and keep the English house going. Learning challenging words helped us grow, and now we speak English all the time. We also challenged ourselves to make new friends, and we are so happy we did, because we grew so close to one another.

The weather in our classroom is usually a little bit of everything — warm, sunny days, calm and breezy moments, and sometimes unpredictable, making every day a brand-new adventure together.

We are leaving behind: our teachers, morning hugs, and starting the day with jumping jacks or running. We are also saying goodbye to fun moments like math games, experiments, the English house, and earning stickers. We are leaving behind our busy drawers, mailbox, plants, and classroom jobs. Most of all, we will miss some of our friends, Ms. Stella’s beautiful words, and Ms. Mayara’s beautiful art and handwriting.

Your creativity and laughter made our classroom a special place every day. Keep asking questions, keep trying your best, and never stop believing in yourselves! We know you will continue to do amazing things in the years ahead. We are cheering for you!
Ms. Audrey Huang and Ms. Lia Benevides

You are the best group of “Wild Robots” we could have ever hoped to spend 5th grade with!
Thank you for all of your hard work and collaboration this school year. We know you will continue to excel, no matter what. With love,
Ms. Priscilla Odinmah and Ms. Debora Martins

This year felt like spring because this class always knew how to keep a positive attitude and a “spring” in their step!

A moment when we realized we were growing was during the second semester, when our discussions in Community Building Time showed how reflective we had become as a class.

A challenge that changed us was getting ready for MAP and pushing ourselves to reach mastery more than ever before.

The weather in our classroom is usually sunny — just like Coy Wire’s “What’s Up, Sunshine!” greeting on CNN10!
We are carrying into our next season: our newly acquired knowledge, the wisdom to use it well, and the good hearts to make the world a better place.

We are leaving behind: our multiplication charts — because we’ve memorized all our times tables up to 12 by now (right?!).

Dear 6th Grade,
We actually made it to the end! First of all, congratulations on all the work you put in this year. It wasn’t always smooth sailing — there were busy days, tough assignments, and a few intense moments — but you pushed through every time, and that is something to be proud of. And of course, thank you for surviving my Words of the Day. I know there were a lot of them… but one day you’ll be writing an essay using words like ‘propitious’ or ‘exasperated’ and think, “Ah… Mr. Stoops was right.” (I hope!)
Each of you brought something special to the class. Whether it was your ideas, humor, creativity, or resilience, you made this year memorable. You are more than ready for High School. Your new teachers will discover what we already know — you are a smart, funny, and creative group with so much potential. And remember, we would love for you to stop by next year… especially if you want to scare the new 6th Graders a little! We will definitely miss you. Have an amazing summer — relax, have fun, and don’t forget everything you learned!
Mr. Filip Stoops and Mr. Gabriel Batista

For my friends:

Throughout all these years at Chapel, I’ve realized that life wouldn’t be the same without my friends by my side. Our group, The G’s, made this experience so special that today I see you not just as school friends, but as sisters. Carol: you’ve always supported me in every moment and showed me what it truly means to be there for a friend. Babi: my bestie who understands me like no one else—our five-hour calls are going to last forever. Helena: who brings out my most genuine laughter and shares the same sense of humor. Giullia: who has always been by my side since we were little. I love you all so much, and I’ll carry our friendship with me for life! Mel: always joyful and full of positive energy. Sophie: you are so special. Maria Nagano: your presence makes every moment more fun. Zaher: you never fail to make me laugh. Bibi: you always encourage me and lift me up. You are my girls, and I’m so grateful to have such amazing friends. Dani and Man: I will always remember all the moments we shared together. I love you both so much. Boys: thank you for being part of this journey. I love having your friendship in my life every day.

The G’s: Girls, where do I even begin? I know we’re always complaining about how hard the IB is, but if there’s one thing I’ll be forever grateful for at Chapel, it’s that it brought us all together. I’m sure we’ll stay that way forever. I will, without a doubt, miss our endless dinners, the gossip, our iconic weekends at Boa Vista, the parties and the next-morning debriefs, all the laughter, and especially the intense RUMI matches. You’re not just my best friends — you’re my family. I love you so much it hurts. Every Carrie needs her Mirandas, Charlottes, and Samanthas — and I have you. Next stop: Europe!
Boys: There are no words for how much I’m going to miss having classes with you. Thank you for always looking out for me no matter what, for taking care of me like a sister, and most of all, for all the genuine laughs you brought into my life.
Teachers and staff: Thank you for all your support and hard work. It was a pleasure being with you.

Duda, Gabi e Vic: Vocês são as melhores irmãs do mundo. Amo passar o tempo juntos, porque as risadas nunca acabam. Obrigado por todo o carinho e amor. Amo vocês.
Gui: I know you’ll miss our encounters in the school bathroom and at the water fountain, but I will still be around. Jokes aside, you are my partner and my best friend. Enjoy the years you still have at Chapel. They fly by.
Avengers, Fãs: Some might think this is the end. I disagree. This is the start of our journeys. Some will study abroad, others will stay in São Paulo. What matters is that everyone reaches their goals. I am proud of you guys.

Girls: I will miss our conversations in class, our laughs during recess, and our everyday gossip. You made my years at Chapel fly by. I love you all.

Plans After Chapel: After Chapel, I’m taking everything this place gave me: My voice, my courage, and my love for people, into the next chapter. I plan to study, create, and build a life that feels meaningful – telling stories that make others feel seen, turning ideas into reality, and carrying Chapel with me wherever I go.
As Winnie the Pooh once said, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” Chapel became my second home: a place where I smiled, laughed, cried, and most of all, grew. Every person, moment, and teacher helped shape who I am, and I’ll carry this school with me forever.
Alice: you’re not just my sister, you’re my favorite person, the one I admire most. Being far from you will hurt, but you go with me in everything I do. I love you endlessly.
Thiago: We were at the same school for five years, yet destiny saved our meeting for the perfect moment. Since you came into my life, everything feels so much happier. You are everything to me, my greatest gift from God and the reason behind all my smiles every single day. I choose you, today and always, with all my heart. I love you forever.
Teachers: Thank you for everything.
Mr. Weaver: thank you for seeing me, believing in me, and helping me outgrow my shyness.
Mr. Javier Rebagliati: thank you for being the brightest part of school. Some of my favorite memories are skipping class with Leo just to talk to you. You’re more than a teacher, you’re a friend.
To my Chapel people: I love you. Each of you lives in my heart. Thank you for the friendship, the laughter, and the home you helped build.

Best Chapel Memory: Been here as long as I can remember, too many to count Plans After Chapel: Continue working (the shrimp that sleeps, the wave takes…)
I’ve seen a lot of people come through this place, but a few have stuck out. A few have stood with me since basically day one (you know who you are), and have shaped who I am. Be it throwing hands over a pack of negresco in 3rd grade (na amizade) or going to see The Wailers on a Sunday night when we should be studying, suffering through Forró Saborear, watching dubious movies on random weekdays, you guys can be sure that even if I missed most hangouts because of work, some memories will stick forever.
For teachers: once again I’ve mismanaged my space and time, meaning I’m not really able to thank all of you enough. I’ve thrown out some wild excuses for turning in assignments late and missing classes (sorry, I had a press conference with the guy from Slayer) and have joked way too much in class, but at least you won’t have to deal with me anymore.
I won’t end off with any premade sentences, no “If we survived high school we’ll survive anything”, because that’s far from true. It only goes downhill from here, as life unfortunately is neither a movie nor a strawberry.

Fãs: There’s no way to fully capture how much each of you has impacted me throughout this journey. As this chapter comes to a close, I realize just how deeply I will miss all of you. Thank you for the endless laughs, the invaluable lessons, and for always being there when I needed support. The memories we’ve made — from jokes to meaningful conversations — have shaped who I am today. I’ll forever be grateful for each of you. If I had the chance to go through this again, there’s no one else I’d want by my side.

Daniela: thank you for being my other half. I’ll miss our trips to Itaipava, the endless sleepovers, eating miojo and brigadeiro at 2am while playing Roblox, and even putting up with Nala (who I still don’t like). Whatever happens next, I know we’ll still be us, even as little old ladies complaining, singing “Love is an Open Door” while drinking tea (or Baly).

Daniel: with you, even the simplest moments become my favorite memories. Three years later, what we have keeps getting better every single day. I love you infinitely and can’t wait to keep growing up by your side.
BBG: you made all my days better. I’ll miss the chaos and unstoppable laughter we bring everywhere. Thank you for all the memories I’ll replay forever. I love you always!

Best Chapel Memory: One of my best Chapel memories is selling slime, Orbeez, and other little things during class from 3rd through 5th Grade. Plans After Chapel: Go to college and study nutrition
I have been part of Chapel since I was 3 years old, and these years gave me memories I will carry forever. From my ECEC days when I never slept and was always the last one awake to the hardest years so far – the last two years of IB. Throughout Elementary School, teachers made my experience unforgettable. Ms. Graves taught me how to read and write with endless patience (and minutes after tutoring). Ms. Eliana Cardia (Liloca) and Ms. Flavia Tacchini encouraged my love for the Formando Escritores journal. Ms. Solange Silva filled every moment with kindness and stories. And Mr. Morrison, who truly changed the way I see the world, taught me resilience, creativity, and confidence through his projects, games, and constant belief in me. School life was filled with trips, Chapel celebrations, recitals, and unforgettable events. Through it all, I learned that not everything goes as planned, and that resilience, friendship, and growth come from those moments.
My family has been my greatest support. My parents gave me love, presence, and opportunities. My mom was always with me, doing everything in her power to see me happy at all times. My dad, even though he works a lot, is always thinking of ways to be a present father, taking me to work with him and always trying to take me and my family with him on his work trips. This all shaped who I am today. My brother João, my cousin and best friend Vitto, my grandparents, and my entire family remind me every day how lucky I am. And finally, my friends: Pimpolhas (Alice, Bruna and Ana) and our friend group as a whole – Alice, Bruna, Ana, Leo, Fig, Enrico, Luca, André, Sofia, Daniel, and Gabriel Thank you for all the memories, laughter, and love. Chapel will always be a part of me.

I’ll truly miss our conversations, our inside jokes, and all the memories we’ve shared. I’m incredibly grateful to call you my friends. Sofia, Leo, and Agapito: who would’ve thought that 11th Grade, amid all the exhaustion, would strengthen our friendship and become one of the best things that happened to me. Thank you for the talks, laughter, and for making my days lighter. In the middle of stress and difficulties, you made life easier with the sense of humor you carry, and I’m truly grateful for each of you. Plans After Chapel: Work on expanding and marketing my jewelry brand
When I moved to Miami in 2019, I never imagined I would return to Chapel, but as life took its course I came back in 2023. I returned with the intent of doing the IB program and leaving Brazil. However, my time here was crucial to help me decide what I actually wanted to do. Later on I ended up dropping the IB and deciding to stay here as I had grown much more connected with my country, and was sure of what path to take.
My first 10 years at Chapel were quite difficult for me. I struggled with classes and maintaining consistent friendships. However, these last three years gave me so many amazing new experiences, provided me with incredible friends, and helped me clearly guide my path for the future. I look forward to what is yet to come, what life will bring me after Chapel, and what life will be like now that the routine I have followed for the past 15 years has ended. Nevertheless, I feel a little wistful when I come to the realization that this cycle which has been my life up to now is closing and will never repeat itself. These friends and experiences will never be seen in the same context, but I hope they will be maintained and be a part of my life for time to come.
Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who played a part in this journey and helped shape who I am today. I’d like to thank my mother for always supporting me and being an advisor in many choices. And I’d like to thank my father for all the experiences, trips and gifts which helped guide what I will do after Chapel.

To the Class of 2026: We made it! Thank you for sharing all of these new experiences with me. I carry everything we’ve been through as a class with me as we go our separate ways. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Fãs, the best friends I could ever have—my second family who welcomed me at Chapel. I’ll always remember my school years thinking of you and all our memories together. I’ll always consider each of you my brothers. Let’s stay in touch! You can count on me for anything – forever! Bruna, my love, meeting you was the best thing that happened during my time at this school, thank you so much for everything, every day by your side was perfect, I love you so much, my love. Charbel, I met you in 8th Grade and we became friends. Over the years that friendship has only grown. Today I already see you as a brother – and I always will. Thank you for everything, Bigas. Antony, when I’m with you I know I’m going to have fun—you’re one of the best friends I could ask for. It’s a shame our lunch tradition ended. Taiago, my “bromance” I’ll never forget—my engineering twin, and all those nights and early mornings studying. Without you I wouldn’t have been able to finish the IB. Thank you for everything, Tai. Binsky, my “Day 1,” I’ve always rooted for you and I always will, I’ll always remember all the jokes and conversations we have. Tommie, my brother from another mother. Chem family—I’ll never forget the struggles we went through. Math Warriors, those late-night study sessions were traumatizing, but I had you guys with me.

Friends (Avengers & Fãs): No words can describe how important you all were to me during this process. Now, as it comes to an end, I realise how much I will miss you all. Thank you for all the genuine laughs, lessons, and support when I needed it. All the jokes, discussions, and talks we had have made me who I am today, and for that, I thank every single one of you for sharing these moments with me. If I were to go through this moment of my life one more time, I wouldn’t wish to do it with anybody else other than you guys.

E no meio do caminho teve a dengue, dolorosa e marcante.

“time makes you bolder, even children get older, and I’m getting older too” Mamá y Papá

Gabriel, there are not enough words to say how proud we are of you. It has taken years of effort and resilience, and you know better than anyone what it took to get here and graduate from Chapel. The path was not easy, but your results say it all. You were accepted to more than 10 universities in the US and the UK! That amazing achievement is yours. We were by your side with all our love and support, but you were the one who sat the exams and spent more than a year preparing for the application process. Your hard work and your decision to never give up have truly paid off. Now it is time to celebrate this huge victory in your life. We have no doubt your future is bright and that you will make all your dreams come true. You deserve every bit of it. You have a big heart, and your sense of gratitude is remarkable. Always believe in yourself. Seremos sempre o seu Porto Seguro. With love, Caio, Cláudia and Felipe

Maria Eduarda Cafaro Kikuchi

Watching you grow into the person you are today has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. We are beyond proud of you—not just for your accomplishments in school, but for the kind, funny, and wonderful human being you are. From the moment you came into our lives, you filled it with the purest love, joy, and happiness, and for that we are endlessly grateful.
As you celebrate this important milestone, we hope you always believe in yourself as deeply as we believe in you. Dream big, stay true to who you are, and continue to work hard toward your dreams.
Always remember that no matter what path you take, we will be here to support you, encourage you, and love you every step of the way.
Congratulations on this amazing achievement. Your family
Nicolas Xerfan Jarzynski
Nicolas,
It feels like just a blink ago that the handsome boy who easily waved goodbye on his first day of school became a high school senior. Four schools, two countries, two citizenships. NiNiJ became Pickle and then became Binsky. It was not always easy, but just like when you learned how to ride a bike (bribed by an Apple Watch and waiting for mommy’s rescue, let’s be honest… ), you managed your way through big changes, made new friends, did not forget the good old ones, won athletic honors in softball and learned to play soccer like a local. You even found a place for the “Big Team” in your heart along with the Heat and the Dolphins.
Today, a big new chapter in your life begins, and we are truly confident in the choices you will make. You have already learned that aiming for great things is never an accident. It is not always free of frustration, but it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution. We couldn’t be prouder of the bright young man you have become. Go chase your dreams. Be brave, be honest, be strong, be honorable. It’s time to build your own story and become a Citizen of the World. With great love, Your parents

Pedro Winkelmann
Dear Pedro, I still remember your first days of school vividly and your strong opinions about it too. ;) Since an early age, you have had a mind of your own, paired with a creative spirit that I have been constantly in awe of. From inventing your own recipes at age five, to harvesting vegetables that you planted, creating amazing oil paintings, making yummy bread, cooking the most incredible food, revamping our garden, working with wood in artful ways, and playing the piano so beautifully, you have never ceased to amaze me and those who know you. Your inquisitive nature had you

constantly question the world around you and led you to be an independent thinker. Never one to be swayed by the crowds, you have stood your ground on things that matter and I could not be more proud of you. More than anything, you have an amazing heart and fearless spirit. Stand tall and go after your dreams with grit, determination, and God by your side. You have always been a gift to me. With love and respect, Mom.

Stella Fantini Hodge
Dear Stella,
I can still feel the weight of you on my shoulders as we walked down that hill in Brussels. You were three, facing an enormous school without knowing a word of French. You cried that first day, but within months, you were translating for your grandmother. Even then, you showed us who you are: Someone who adapts, who learns, and who refuses to be sidelined. Back then, your 2026 graduation felt a lifetime away. Now, here we are. Your next “first day” won’t be a stroll in Brussels, but a flight back to Europe toward limitless opportunities. This time the choice is entirely yours. You aren’t being carried; you are charging forward on your own two feet. We have watched you face challenges with intelligence and resourcefulness. You possess an internal fire that cannot be taught. We are overcome with pride in your character, suspense for your next chapter, and a sense of wonder for the wide-open world before you. We love you more than words can express. Congratulations, Stella! Love, Mom, Dad, and Alice.
Thiago Fialho Dias Resende
Thiago, meu filho!
Ahh Thiti!!
Desejo a você muitas realizações e alegria.
Rodrigo
Tomas Aquino Resegue

“
The High School Art results were great! Here are some examples of the Art units this school year: 7th Graders did a POP Art mixed media composition on canvas with the intervention of popsicle sticks or CDs, according to their choice, and inspired by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein! 8th Graders created stuffed animals inspired by their favorite book characters from their childhood and displayed them during our book fair! 9th and 10th Graders in Integrated Art did amazing watercolors featuring either half of a face or a landscape and they became beautiful bookmarks that are now a big success amongst students! Also, the 9th and 10th Graders in Elective Art explored markets around the world through Acrylic paint on canvas!

Our IB Art students in 11th Grade are producing many different Artworks according to their own styles and personalities, as well as their Inquiry Portfolios, and the IB Art students in 12th Grade celebrated their achievements with an incredible IB Art Show that happened in March! And of course, the field trip to the 36th Art Bienal was a great experience for all our High School grade levels during four fantastic days! Congratulations to all the students for their involvement and always trying their best! Remember that all their Art creations can be seen in the site that I put together for you with so much love involved - just scan the QR code!
