Chandler
Mayor Kevin Hartke has lived in Chandler since 1985. He has served on City Council for 9 years and as Mayor for 3 years. He continues to serve as a Pastor at Trinity Christian Fellowship in Chandler where he has worked since 1985. Kevin has a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from University of Missouri, Columbia; and a master’s degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Kevin is involved extensively in the state and regional leadership. He serves on the Leadership Board of the Arizona League of Towns and Cities. With the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), he serves on the Transportation Policy Committee, Regional Board and Executive Committee. He serves on the Valley Metro Rail Board and the Regional Public Transportation Authority. Kevin also serves on the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.
ChRICK HEUMANN, CMA
Chandler Chamber Board Chair
Rick Heumann is a long time Chandler resident with a prolific background in community service and civic engagement. The former Chandler Vice Mayor and Councilmember served on the City Council from 2008-2016. Rick is the current chairperson of the City of Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission.
During his Council tenure he created the Chandler Education Coalition, that led to the creation of the popular Chandler Science Spectacular technology festival. He was also integral in working with the Coalition to develop the Read On Chandler early stage literacy campaign.
Additionally, he has served in a number of appointed capacities on both the local and regional levels, including six years on the Board of the Arizona Municipal Water Users Association where he held the longest tenured position as the association’s president at two and a half years. He also served six years on the Regional Public Transportation Association’s Board of Directors.
TERRI KIMBLE
President/CEO Chandler Chamber of Commerce
Terri Kimble has been in the Chamber field for over 32 years, working for a number of chambers of commerce in Michigan before coming to the Phoenix area. In Michigan, she served as president and executive director of several chambers and served on the executive board of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce Executives. After moving to the valley, she became the President/CEO of the Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce and in 2011, took the helm of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce. The Chandler Chamber of Commerce is the 3rd largest Chamber in the State of Arizona representing over 170,000 employees.
Terri has been recognized as the Leader of the Year from the Arizona Capitol Times, Outstanding Woman in Business from Phoenix Business Journal.
