Golf Tournament to be Held

When the Arizona Make-A-Wish foundation asked Jaxon Landfair what wish he would like to be granted, he chose to give to the future. He wanted to develop a scholarship for student to pursue careers in Law Enforcement. His wish inspired the development of the Jaxon Foundation. In addition to financial support, all scholarship recipients will be connected with “Jaxon Mentors.” These mentors are Law Enforcement professionals in a variety of areas of specialization and will stay connected to the scholarship recipients throughout their academic tenure.

On May 6, The Jaxon Foundation will host their 3rd Annual Jaxon Foundation Golf Tournament at Ocotillo Golf Club. Visit JaxonFoundation.org/golf for sponsorship opportunities and to be a part of this amazing event.

Blood Donations Needed at Local Hospitals

Donate blood to the supply for Chandler Regional Medical Center and every other hospital in Maricopa County. With the aid of generous blood donors, Vitalant is their sole blood provider.

Donate blood in Chandler each quarter at the Community Center. Pick your donation time for the March 23rd drive from 9am-2pm at donors.vitalant.org code: P1748.

Chandler Regional Medical Center has five 10-hour blood drives throughout the year in their Morrison Building Auditorium. Call 877-25-VITAL (877-258-4825) to schedule a donation appointment at any location.

Vitalant (“Vye-TAL-ent”) is the nation’s largest independent, nonprofit blood services provider exclusively focused on providing lifesaving blood and comprehensive transfusion medicine services for about 900 hospitals and their patients across the U.S.

Every day, Vitalant needs to collect nearly 5,000 blood, platelet and plasma donations to help save lives. In Arizona, Vitalant serves over 60 hospitals and 600 donors are needed daily.
