Chandler Ranked # 24 Chandler Residents Have Big Vocabulary

In the Webster’s Third New International Dictionary and the Oxford English Dictionary, there are 470,000 words combined. However, only 170,000 words are frequently used. Americans speak between 7,000 to 20,000 words. 24/7 Tempo reviewed a report by LetterSolver and they analyzed geotagged tweets in English, divided all words into samples of 1,000, calculated the mean number of unique words per city, then narrowed the list down to 35 U.S. Cities where residents have the widest array of vocabulary.

Chandler ranked #24 with a unique word count of 461.2 words for every 1,000 words spoken.
