rother Superior General and his Council invited the Provincial Councils of Europe to a meeting at the Hermitage (France) from 13 to 16 March 2011. This brought together the Councils of five provinces: Compostela, Central West Europe, Ibérica, L’Hermitage and Mediterránea. The region of Europe has a new configuration on the European map since restructuring. Now it covers 17 countries, distributed as follows:
which was incorporated in the Province on 12 July 2003.
* Compostela. Completed restructuring on 2 January 2004 and is present in Spain (Castilla + León), Honduras and Portugal
* Mediterránea. Date of restructuring: 6 August 2003. Present in Spain (Bética + Levante), Italy, Lebanon and Syria. The communities of Lebanon and Syria were incorporated in the former Bética Province on 30 June 2000.
* Central West Europe. Date of restructuring:15 April 2000. Includes Germany, Belgium, Great Britain, Holland and Ireland * Ibérica. Restructuring completed on 26 November 2003. Currently present in Spain (Madrid + Norte) and Rumania,
* The Province of L’Hermitage completed restructuring on 29 July 2003.It includes Argelia, Spain (Catalonia), France, Greece, Hungary and Switzerland. The Swiss communities were incorporated into the former Province of Beaucamps-St. Genis on 30 December 1999 and then passed to the Hermitage.
The brothers in Europe are distributed as follows: Compostela (227), Central West Europe (147), Ibérica (183), L’Hermitage (350) and Mediterránea (229). In total: 1,136.
