Congratulations, graduates!

You’re now part of an elite club: a member of the Chaminade alumni 'ohana.

We are a big and happy family, scattered across the globe. And we count among our ranks everyone from up-and-coming professionals to professionals nearing retirement (or happily in it).

We’re lawyers, counselors, teachers and engineers. We’re scientists and artists. Entrepreneurs and designers. Doctors and nurses.

But regardless of our chosen careers, we’re all incredibly proud to call ourselves Silverswords. Because we understand that a Chaminade education is more than just books and tests—or even diplomas—it’s about finding ways to serve others and change the world for the better.

That’s why we stay connected to what’s going on at Chaminade—so we can play a big role in helping others understand just how special our University is.

After all, there are lots of ways to support your alma mater.

You can volunteer as a mentor or serve as your class representative; come out to Silversword games; make a plan to attend our annual reunion or consider giving to Chaminade to support critical areas, including need-based scholarships.

The most important thing you can do: stay connected!

And in the meantime, celebrate! You’re one of us now and we couldn’t be prouder to welcome you.

STAY CONNECTED!

CHAMINADE, ALMA MATER, HAIL!

Light of truth by tropic sea, Guide of youth, you keep us free. Your colors: white as curling foam, Your royal blue—our island home.

Lift our loyal spirits high, With a sword of inspiration Lead to battle with the cry, “Life in the Word”—and victory For love of God and nation.

Rendezvous of West and East Home of evening star, a gleam, And morning star, pure silver beam, Hail, splendor, echo of the sun.

Lift our loyal spirits high, With the sword of inspiration Lead to battle with the cry, “Life in the Word”—and victory For love of God and nation.

Chaminade, Alma Mater, Hail!

Lyrics by Bro . Joseph A . Becker, S .M . (1911–2004) Music by John McCreary (1930–2013)

NATIONAL ANTHEM

O say can you see, By the dawn’s early light. What so proudly we hailed At the twilight’s last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars Through the perilous fight, O’er the ramparts we watched Were so gallantly streaming?

And the rockets’ red glare, The bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night That our flag was still there.

O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave O’er the land of the free And the home of the brave?
