My name is Jack Twellman and I am the new Middle School Principal. I have been at Chaminade for 8 years both as a 6th Grade Social Studies teacher and most recently as a Middle School Counselor. I absolutely love everything about Chaminade and couldn’t be more excited to continue working with the boys and their families in my new role. I grew up in St. Louis and have lived here my entire life with the exception of 4 years of college in Edwardsville, Illinois. My wife, Molly, and I have 3 daughters, Tess, Emma and Kate. When I’m not at Chaminade, you can find me hanging with my girls at home playing in the backyard or watching Frozen for the hundredth time. I enjoy playing golf, watching the Blues and Cardinals, and spending time with family. I am so proud to be a member of the Chaminade community and to work alongside such great people that truly have the best interest of your sons in mind. My name is Susie Clark and I am the Administrative Assistant in the Middle School Office. This is my second year at CCP and it is such a wonderful place! I enjoy getting to know your sons when they stop by and getting to talk to you, the parents, when you call. My husband Jeff and I have three children; Dylan, Mason & Quinn. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, organizing and decorating. Painting is my favorite! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Adriel Betts and I just joined the Chaminade family as the Middle School Counselor. I am so happy to be here and be a part of such a wonderful school and community! I love basketball, bowling and golf but what I find fascinating is talking to, connecting with, and helping young people. I would like the students here to think of my office as a friendly place, where they are always welcome. My office is also a safe haven – a place where they can get help if they feel confused, worried or just need to share their thoughts. Chaminade is a great school, but that doesn’t mean that our students won’t face challenges while they are here. I would like your child to know that they have an ally, and that there is always an adult at the school who will be on their side. As a School Counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students. I look forward to offering support to the students, staff, families and community.

Hello Chaminade families! My name is Laura Griese, and this will be my 5th year as one of our middle school counselors. I graduated from Missouri Baptist University in 2016 with my Masters in Counseling K-12, plus licensure and I recently completed my certification as a licensed professional counselor. I have completed professional development trainings on executive functioning, anxiety, technology addiction, and suicide prevention. I truly love my job as a counselor at Chaminade. Working with middle school students has been fun, challenging, and incredibly rewarding. I love seeing my students grow and mature both personally and as students in their time here at Chaminade. Your son will always have an advocate in me and an open-door policy. My office serves as a safe space for him to talk through issues at home or school, a place to share his insecurities and struggles in a judgement free atmosphere. My job is to make sure he is safe, happy, and healthy! When I am not at school counseling or coaching, I am spending time with my husband and family. My name is Brian Groark, and I will be serving the Chaminade community as Middle School Learning Consultant. Growing up in St. Louis, I received a Catholic education from St. Norbert Catholic School and Christian Brothers College High School, before attending Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on a soccer scholarship. Since graduating, I have continued to live in the St. Louis area, where I enjoy getting together with friends and family and travelling with my fiancé, Elizabeth. Also, depending on who you ask, I may spend too much time coaching soccer and playing golf. As a certified school psychologist, I have previously worked for Special School District of St. Louis County and provided services to K-12 students in the Parkway School District. I am very excited to now be working at Chaminade because of its unique culture and holistic approach to developing young men. I am eager to lend my knowledge and expertise as a school psychologist to the Middle School Learning Consultant role and look forward to supporting students and staff in any way I can!
