Fund-a-Need
We are excited to introduce our Fund-A-Need initiative: raising funds to modernize our classrooms with new, state-of-the-art furniture. This project goes beyond aesthetics; it is about creating an environment where our Chaminade Gentlemen can thrive academically, socially, and creatively.
Our classrooms should be more than just spaces for lectures. They should inspire curiosity, foster collaboration, and support active learning. Research shows that boys learn best in dynamic environments that encourage movement, flexibility, and hands-on engagement. By modernizing our classrooms, we aim to provide spaces that adapt to diverse teaching styles and learning activities, creating opportunities for every student to excel.
Over the past few years, we have made significant strides in updating our larger middle school and high school classrooms, transforming them into vibrant hubs of activity and innovation. Now, our goal is to extend this transformation to every classroom across campus. With your support, we can ensure that each learning space is equipped with modern furniture and tools that meet the expectations and needs of our students and their families.

Our Auctioneer
Rene Knott is a co-anchor on Today in St. Louis / KSDK-TV in St. Louis. He started at 5 On Your Side in 2004 as Sports Director, and moved to the morning show in 2016.
Rene was born in Hollywood, and after playing football and earning a degree from Southern Oregon State College, Rene landed his first job at KDRV-TV in Medford, Oregon. After leaving
Oregon, he made stops in Mobile, Alabama and Washington, D.C. before moving to St. Louis. Rene says he’s enjoyed every stop along the way, but St. Louis is special. “We have a sports scene with traditions and expectations, but most of all, St. Louis has community.”
Throughout his career, Rene has earned three Emmys and covered many memorable stories, but he says the most exciting thing he’s done was travel to South Korea to cover the 2018 Winter Olympics.
