Our college counseling for your student begins when they first come to our campus and continues throughout their journey here. Your counselor will get to know them, help them plan their path, coach them when needed and keep them on track to achieve their goals. Opportunity & Enrichment

We believe the culture at Chaminade encourages students to get involved in student life. From advanced placement and elective classes in every department to our innovation lab and robotics program, to the blend of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) into the student’s total academic experience, we deliver on the Marianist ideal of educating a well-rounded student. Outside the classroom, Chaminade offers professional-level performing arts facilities as well as a wide variety of art, music, drama, dance, and film classes. For our athletes, there are 28 varsity sports. Your student can pursue a sport at a purely recreational level, or a highly competitive one. Every year student-athletes advance to compete in colleges across the country, many receiving scholarships to play at the highest level.

Safety & Security

You want your student to feel safe at school, both physically and emotionally – so do we. Chaminade makes campus safety a top priority. The high school is a closed campus, with a guard station, perimeter fence, security cameras, and an alert system throughout the school. People safety is also important to us. Every staff member receives an extensive background check prior to being hired. Randomized student drug testing keeps students safe and helps protect them from social pressures. And our Marianist culture of Family Spirit means we help students fit in and belong. We want your student to develop positive relationships and meaningful friendships during their high school years.

In the classroom, we model empathy, respect, and dignity. Students feel safe in expressing their opinions and exchanging views with others. Our staff will communicate directly with you if we have any concerns about your student’s development.
