21st Century Urban city Principles •

Easy access: A neighbourhood designed with good transportation facilities and good road network helps the neighbourhood function and grow better with good civic etiquette.

•

Comprehensive neighbourhood: A neighbourhood with public buildings and all the facilities such as recreation spaces, residential buildings, work spaces and schools make an ideal neighbourhood keeping git minimal for the residents to travel to distance.

•

Built and unbuilt balance: it is important to maintain balance between the built and the unbuilt spaces in a district or an urban region.

•

Promotion of green and open spaces: providing reasonable amount od recreational and green spaces in a neighbourhood helps in maintaining good health amongst the residents and enables social, economical and urban biodiversity.

•

Affordable housing: 21st century neighbourhood needs affordable housing since the middle class community contributes to the major percentage of the residential sector and providing good affordable housing can make a neighbourhood successful and safe and socially active.

•

Scope of Public interaction: provision of enough recreational spaces and amenities in a neighbourhood helps public interaction at a great level and exchange of ideas and knowledge making the neighbourhood overall development of the neighbourhood.
