ANNUAL CAMPAIGN 2022

It was important to the founders of CHAI that services would be available to the families of those who needed them regardless of the ability to pay the full cost of care. CHAI’s current leadership stands by this commitment and has a goal to raise more than $800k this year to assure that our dedicated and caring staff can provide round-the-clock assistance with all the day-to-day needs of our residents.

When you contribute to our Annual Campaign, or become a sponsor for our CHAI LIFE fundraising event, you’re participating in a collective effort to provide everything it takes to put smiles on the faces of our 29 group home residents as well as our non-residential clients in the community.

Since our founding nearly 39 years ago, CHAI has been committed to enriching the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities and offering them the programs and services that makes them smile as they lead meaningful lives.

The costs associated with providing CHAI’s high level of care, quality programs and specialized services exceeds what the agency receives in revenue from fees paid by families and reimbursements from social security and Medicaid benefits that some clients receive.

With your support, our staff will maintain 8 group home households, shop for and prepare nutritious meals, oversee medications and healthcare needs and transport the residents to all of their activities and appointments. In addition to all of these tasks, our staff works hard every day to keep smiles on the faces of those in their care.
